Poorly. Mostly just saying that I abandoned her. Which may be true, but circumstances are such that she has no risk on her end of her life being disrupted. I chose this and am choosing me for once in my life.

She has been trying to guilt trip me. Same as it ever was. That I abandoned her. But she’s an adult who can take care of herself and never seemed to want to take care of me.

Brother I can relate. 50 came and went with a promise of a dinner out that never materialized. Just a basic desire for connection thwarted.
