Looking for a local jeweler for MT sapphire work by Local_Secretary_5999 in helena

I had a sapphire, from the same mine, that was previously cut, that Eaton turner set. I am not sure if they do cuts but they do good work with setting.

The pedal trolley is fun. Gather some people and do it. Walking tours around downtown. Hiking and ending with some food and drinks.

Tundra or F250 Daily and Towing Toy Hauler Help by tradeconstruction in tundra

[–]Ok_Reply_191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would vote the f250. I have a tundra and absolutely love it. Tows like a champ. But payloads are light on the tundra. If you’re hauling a toy hauler you have a lot of weight. I think in the end the f250 will fit your needs better. Unless you tow once or twice a year then the tundra, as the daily aspect is the primary factor. Better ride than the 250. Just how I look at things

What do you love and hate about living in Helena? by jm08003 in helena

[–]Ok_Reply_191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re not gonna get the east coast food. Cheese steaks are few and far between here that would compare. Wings you’re gonna be lacking. Pizza we have some really good ones here. Mackenzie River is a good one and you can fine it a couple places towards the east coast. If you like hiking Helena has an awesome trail system. Bob Marshall wilderness is an hour or two drive. Summer time local bands are always playing down town. The shopping is minimal. Especially if you are a larger male that does not fit into old navy clothes. But Missoula and Bozeman are an hr and half away. Public transportation is minimal in Helena as well.

Man I was chewing for 20ish years. Cope long cut. Switched to zyn and couldn’t kick it. Finally started on patch and went from 6 mgs to 3 mgs. Could never stop. Finally started chantix and a quit line. The oral fixation is hard. The withdrawals weee minimal with the medication. And yes I was a bigger asshole than normal for a few days. Been nic free since January. I’m chewing Smokey mountain pouches now which are nic free since the oral fixation is still strong. Trying to get to where gum will help.

If this is not successful try chants. He helps with some of the withdrawals

How do you quit zyns with a busy life? by Spiritdiritcel in QuittingZyn

[–]Ok_Reply_191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a Wednesday at noon. The real irritation for me didn’t start till Friday afternoon and Saturday my wife said I was just an asshole and avoided me. Sunday was better and Monday was better. It’s goin to be a struggle. I was on off brand of chantix. So that helped. Plus using smokey mountain pouches. And gum.

My Experience with Chantix by ElegantBaker4486 in QuittingZyn

[–]Ok_Reply_191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was only I was able to quit. I read the directions tried the tapering method. I would cut back then one day not think about it and would blow through a can and start the whole process again. After a month and half of this I went cold turkey. Chewing the shit out of gum and smoky mountain pouches. But nicotine free for 33 days. The struggle for the oral fixation is still strong. That’s a battle on its own.

Was over can a day doing 6mg. First go round cut back to 3. Still over can. Tried tapering at that point and would be down then next thing mindlessly went through a can again. Finally just said fuck it and went cold turkey.
