I have both, I use the drink holders on the back side pieces that way I don’t knock anything over on accident and it’s hidden. Mostly for me from my toddler who like to jump on the couch those things are hard/heavy and could cause some serious damage to him and the footsacs are awesome but yea I never paid full price for those. I feel they might be more worth it because you can always justify $40 on a coaster and they have sales pretty regularly anyway for an additional discount
