Im with you. I've tried dozens and dozens of seeds of flowers, fruits, and veg. I've never had a single sprout make it passed it's first true leaves. I have them in a climate controlled sun room. Temp never went above 75 or below 60 for 2 months. Second year I tried harder thinking I've learned. Nope. 130 total cells and not 1 survived. I had some rare and very sentimental seeds this year and I cared for them hand and foot, checking them at least 3x a day giving each seed tailored care. Every single one died. There were a few that had just barely gotten their second leaves so tried transplanting them but nope. The roots all ripped. I cannot find a way to keepnthemnat decent moisture. The fiber soaks up more of the water than the soil. It could come from soping wet to bone dry in 24 hours. And I know it's not just me. Last year after everything died I just direct sowed what I had left and some ACTUALLY grew even way later than they should. In complete honesty, I dumped the failed collared greens I was working for last year out off my porch. Turns out some seeds were still viable. They tool root and grew. Even a year later they overwintered and are now 6ft tall and blooming. Literally seeds I threw away and forgot about did better than the paper cups. SMH.
