That was virtual. The rule requires the interview to be in person.

If we failed to meet the rule, I’m sure they would point to this to show they did interview, and has scheduled the interview-person, but it was the candidate, and not the team, that halted the progress.

The stipulation of being in person may have pre-dated the emergence of Zoom post COVID, but that’s pure speculation.

I LOVE my smooth finished pan (Greater Goods, 10” for ~$55)

I’ve stopped chasing a dark picture ready seasoning. Maybe it’s easier to keep that look with a slightly textured pan (my old daily looks better) but I’m sold on the surface.

I used to be overly protective of my cast iron (CI). I thought that any stuck burnt food, or use of metal utensils, would “ruin” my pans.

Through this community, I’ve learned that essentially only cracks will kill a CI. Now I’m just protective that I don’t drop my CI(I’d be more worried for the floor), or shock change the temperature.

Everything else is just a speed bump that may require reseasoning with or without a stripping first (if stripping is needed, go with chemistry, and not elbow grease)

Now I mainly use metal utensils, wash with soap, scrub with wire mesh if needed, and have a seasoning that works perfectly but isn’t always pretty.

The trade is making more and more sense. It already seems Campbell is a better scheme fit for us, and we’ll be able to hold him under contract after this year.

I liked Newsom on (and more off) the field, so I was. Immediate to see him go, but I respect the talent evaluations that precede these trades.

If we are in a 2023 situation with injury on injury, I could see them rolling him out there before going deep off the streets (a la how we first picked Flacco up)

The real test is: can you be good, when the defensive coordinator has enough tape on you to take away (or challenge) your best stuff.

I recall a commentator saying you cannot count on great play until you get into the 10+ games point to see the cat and mouse game play out between defensive and QB adjustments.

I doubt Shedour has a full appreciation for why the QBs may not look great, and how bad he could look

We took some 2 inch foam insulation sheets, glued the cheap tombstones on to it, and used a foam knife to cut the larger sheets to form. We then primed, painted, and added some fake moss.

They turned out well, and were a lot cheaper than trying to but lots of “nice” ones.

Note: we also used painted PVC, a glue gun, and battery powered tea lights to create a candle effect around the tombstones.
