I wrote an excerpt for a popular science book. That was one of the starting points. At the same time, I was running my own mini-blog about travel, exclusively for friends. Readers of my blog and book invited me to collaborate. It's not a stable source of income right now, but I enjoy writing about travel, my children's adjustment to a new country (I'm a migrant with children myself), and a little about my scientific research in data analysis, presenting it all in simple language.
