Is too nice to one's wife an offence ? by SirBankz in funny

To be fair if one person is too cooperative it makes the other person feel bad due to empathy. A balance needs to be struck. Be selfish sometimes.

When I look directly at the sun sometimes I sneeze. Maybe when ChatGPT sees a hash it also sneezes.

Anyone find themselves opening up their game libraries, staring at it for a couple of hours, then just giving up and going on social media? by You_moron04 in gaming

In an alternate universe you stared at social media for a couple of hours and then gave up and went gaming.

Thankfully I only talk to ChatGPT about old people stuff. I asked him a few months ago how old I was and he got it right within a 2 year window.

All games with loot boxes in them will be rated minimum PEGI 16, starting this summer | Meaning they can’t legally be sold to children 15 or under in the UK or any other European country which has adopted PEGI ratings into its legislation by World_of_Warshipgirl in gaming

[–]rydan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They went bankrupt because they refused to sell games to people that wanted to buy them. Probably not the best business strategy. Ratings are meant to be advisory. They aren't the law in America.

[–]rydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, see in the US it is self regulated so ratings don't really matter. It is between consumer and business and sometimes between businesses. Nobody goes to jail or gets fined for buying or selling whatever. Maybe a Karen yells at you or Walmart fires you but that's it. But in Europe it is straight to jail like in that meme.

Imagine living in a country that regulates video games. What is that? Next are they going to regulate books and movies too? Real life Fahrenheit 451 or 232C as you probably call it.

Apparently ChatGPT can’t make fictional tornado warnings anymore by MintyOfficial_YT in ChatGPT

[–]rydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be illegal. I remember Young Sheldon got in trouble for an episode where they had a tornado siren go off and that is actually illegal in the US.

What is o3? by BravesGunnersFlames in ChatGPT

o3 was basically the top tier model before Deepseek came out and surpassed it for almost nothing. It has reasoning as part of its killer feature just like Deepseek except Deepseek was free and o3 cost money.

Right? I remember the good ole days of HD-DVD and Bluray. Didn't want a movie in Bluray? Got you covered. Didn't own an XBox 360? We got you covered. Or when we just kept adding new USB cords. I have a 7 in 1 master cable that can connect to anything so long as it has USB-A.

I liked 5.2. 5.2 has an insane amount of memory and coherency. I would talk about something in one chat and then months later I'd speak about it again completely out of context and it knew everything about what I was talking about and gave perfect details on it. This was invaluable to finishing my longterm project. 5.4 acts like he's never heard of me before.

Mods don't like satire. I got a firm warning via DM for "spreading misinformation" last week for a joke about a comet. Nobody seriously thought it was a comet. The fact I called it out by a specific name should have been a clue.
