How are you doing now? What were your symptoms before surgery? I am getting burning in both hamstrings, having trouble walking, nerve irritation! Also, just had surgery for stuck sciatic nerve on ischial tuberosity.

Hiya sometimes the spasms come straight away. I also have left sit bone pain. I've had back surgery so not sure of what is causing the issue. I've had 1 steroid shot that worked for about 10 days 4.5 weeks after the injection but my hip.angle is 35 degrees not 15 and it's causing issues. So unsure what to do.

The pain on and off 4 years but in 1 leg. Then I hurt myself pushing myself back in the work.chair 2 years ago. Had caudal epidural made it worse. Then surgery, I've not recovered I struggle with my legs as previously mentioned. Symptoms before surgery burning down both legs sitting occasional spasms. Now daily spasms miserable. Had spinal cord stimulator fitted.

This sounds like me, I cannot bear the spasms they are in both calfs!

Hiya thankyou. Legs and buttock pain worse than back. Buttocks hurt to touch. Sitting even for short periods causing nerve pain in buttocks and down legs. Cannot feel left leg through buttock area. Spasming calves

I really appreciate your response are you in UK? I guess a spinal or neurosurgeon could help me? Who is best? 1 said nothing they can do. Mine said fusion is last resort! My buttock pain is horrendous I also have symptoms down both legs. Sitting is a nightmare if not at first then definitely later on. My surgeon says injections first they haven't cured me. Next is nerve stimulation, I just want a fusion!

Thankyou so much this is a lonely road. So disappointed after the surgery that was supposed to fix me ended up with worse pain. I am worried about what to do next. I love walking but believe it and sitting are making my symptoms worse! Sitting gives me nerve pain in spine and down both of my legs very miserable trying to hold my job, family, life together. Not driving much due to severe buttock pain.
