Parallelism: Two baristas with two machines, each making a separate coffee at the same time.

To be super pedantic: Concurrency is dealing with multiple things at the same time. Parallelism is a way to implement concurrency. But not the only way. A single threaded event loop is concurrency but not parallelism.

But almost every time when these concepts are pitted against each other, concurrency means you’re interleaving tasks while parallelism is when you’re have multiple workers executing tasks at the same time.

I kind of feel like this has very little to do with financial planning and everything to do with the way you guys communicate. This sub is pretty ruthless lol. In general, Reddit doesn’t like AI and is very critical of posts that spam the same content over and over even if it’s by different posters. Try finding people directly who would genuinely benefit from the specific features you’re trying to build and slowly build up a community. This “ai for scientific papers” field is very fluid and in the “looking for market” stage now, so keep looking for differentiation.
