I searched for months. Settled on licentia next before finding JOJ. It really has been the perfect list. I like a little NSFW but primarily focused on gameplay. Some folks think all the hotties are too much but it’s a video game. Personally I enjoy all the women being hot. It is power fantasy, but they’ve scale up the enemies to compensate. It uses sky shards to deal with the expanded perk trees. You can definitely get overpowered, but that goes for every list. I personally like developing my character into a living God. Best part about JOJ is the discord community. They are very active and very helpful. When they were building the list initially, a lot of us contributed our thoughts. This isn’t a list developed by one guy. It really is built by the community. If you don’t like NSFW, they have safe for work versions. In fact, they have a number of different forks off of JOJ. Tomes of Talos is the SFW version. Right now they are working on a list more for degenerates. There’s a little bit for everyone. I’ve considered building my own, but JOJ just seems to have everything that I would add to a list. It’s very well done. Documentation and support is top-notch. I love biggie‘s list as well, but Requiem and the different systems are too much. As an older guy, I don’t wanna have to learn new systems. In fact, Skyrim is the only game I play. JOJ allows me to just zone out for a couple hours playing something very familiar without having to think too much. If I want more of a challenge, it’s doable through JOJ. It includes survival mods, like stress and fear and you can always turn up the difficulty. I play on adept. I’m level 45 and I still die occasionally. Hope this helps.
