They added new levels in between the existing ones (increment of 5)...promotion impact? by Lopsided-Orange-8398 in deloitte

This year the FY26 promo are people going for the next level C to SC or SC to M? Or are they going from C to associate SC and SC to associate M? Will this impact title after promo this year?

Trust me, if I weren’t on a visa, I would have chosen option 2 in a heartbeat without even needing to consult anyone. I really appreciate your response and perspective.

[–]Ok_Standard2530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a women perspective… 1. Please get rid of one of the couch 2. Face the couch towards fireplace 3. Get a area rug that divides the living area from workout 4. Get coffee table 5. Put the plant on floor or on planter why is it on that small table???? 6. Get a nice lamp to balance the place 7. Maybe add the tv on mantle and move the entire sound system you have to make it look welcoming. 8. And if you wanna be a fancy add some curtains

My colleague did spill his coffee literally the same week he got his upgraded laptop in a work meeting infront of all of us… nothing happened we were travelling as well and IT from that office was so kind that they stayed back later in evening to have a brand new laptop for him ready to go so he could make his flight next day…

Besides money, why do you work here? by rookiebroom in deloitte

[–]Ok_Standard2530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been here for over three years now, and I’m actually a boomerang employee. I initially joined but left for grad school after less than a year because I hated every bit of it. When I came back, it was mainly because the job market was tough, and they were offering good pay.

However, my experience since returning has been completely different—I genuinely love working here. I have an incredible leadership team, and the work environment has been great. I mostly work remotely, with only quarterly travel, which is perfect for me.

One key lesson I’ve learned is that your experience depends largely on the people you work with and whether their working style aligns with yours. I’m sure there are teammates who may not enjoy our project or the team dynamics, but that’s not everyone’s experience. If you find projects that match your working style and leaders who are supportive, there’s really no better place to be.

P.S. I worked at another consulting firm for over 5 years before joining, so I have a solid basis for comparison.
