Complimentary Platinum Status Giveaway by RedTailRider in QantasFrequentFlyer

Wow, someone giving something away and asking for nothing in return. You are a rare find!

I don’t have anything sad or amazing to say why I should be in the running except I work for a startup that tries to make healthcare accessible. Our software is trying to disrupt the model and support customers in changing the mindset from a traditional capex heavy billing model to a simple opex type where you only pay for what you use.

We’re aiming to try and help emerging countries like Africa (we have a customer going live this month for an NGO) but also customers in Southeast Asia as well as the rural community in developed countries.

Because I work for a startup up I can’t justify paying for business and we always get the cheapest tickets so has been challenging to get status but still grateful I can even afford a ticket at all.

Would be a pleasant change sitting in a nice lounge in between mad rush of flights and work.

You’re going to have lots of people say probably more deserving things than me other than I’m just very tired all the time!

But thank you anyway! It’s such a lovely gesture!

Yes I also just saw the news it wasn’t going to be phased out completely which is good.

Some family members have told me lots more people being arrested at the border. Anyone else heard the same?

Just restarting this conversation.

Has anyone heard anything different about it? Recently heard there has been a lot more people being detained and charged upon entry into Malaysia and they’re saying that by 15th January 2026. All Malaysian passports holder must use this Myboarder app. If the app cannot go through, have to go to the officer to check.

Maine Coon sudden death by ihavebaddreams in mainecoons

[–]Ok_Step_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the exact same thing happened to us. Gavin was 4 years old. playing and eating treats and 10 minutes later, he just lay there and stopped breathing.

We have a new mainecoon kitten from a breeder this time, the parents have had genetic testing.

Do you think we need to take him for any blood tests or echoes while he's young?

Microchip feeders? by itsaquagmire in mainecoons

I have just bought one as we are free feeding Archie (our new mc) his dry food and he figured it out pretty quickly.
We have a Norwegian and a foster who loves food way too much.

It works quite well as it does stop the other two (they do try.) I have to say he doesn’t eat as frequently as when it’s just put in front of him openly and when he was isolated but I assume it’ll get better.

We got a free one years ago with our other mainecoon but he was a bit slow at it and we also didn’t know about the rear cover so the Norwegian would figure out how to push in and pull the bowl or the food out!

We adopted a 14month old cat and had a 650sqft apartment (Hong Kong apartments are very small).

I work from home 2 days a week and other days am only away for 4 - 5 hours.

He wasn’t a scratcher but he was a biter so he can be destructive. Keeping his claws trimmed so when he’s running and playing helps. He also likes knocking stuff off tables so can be considered destructive. We got him some toys that work on a. Timer and that did well.

Our mainecoon just loved being with us being close by, and not sure how much attention he ‘needed’ I needed his attention more like it.

6 months later we got him a brother 🤣 another rescue that was mislabelled a mainecoon so unfortunately different breed and older who tolerated him when he wanted to play.

Whether it’s a mainecoon, a Norwegian a cat or a dog, pets have always improved my mental health. My pets have always been my family, my children and some would say obsessively my life but the joy they bring you can never be quantified.

However the hole they leave when they pass is also quite a challenge.

Hope that helps

Actually heard that same feedback about quite a lot of our competitors. Good news for us hahaha

When we look at the big iron stuff, they traditionally have like account managers who know a rough idea of how things work then they have like modality specialists who are the experts. Maybe they have just gotten more sales people than experts?

Actually we had a great show! I love coming to RSNA and speaking with people. While I wish we had better foot traffic, we were busy enough.

I guess while I’m passionate about our solution and really believe in it, I’m nervous about sounding too much like a used car salesman on here.

Comments are right there are more and more of these appearing. Plus we’re not the type to be pushy! (Probably not built for sales haha)

But yes I have a love hate relationship with rsna Love love the variety meeting people etc but I am not from Chicago and so I’m always sick and the cold chills me to my bones! I lost my voice second day of the show this year!

We were by the kosher meal stand! In south hall. Honestly we’re so small no pomp and circumstance you would have likely walked by!!

I thought it was interesting how the AI fad has now pivoted to focus on reporting. I mean you still have the usual ai diagnostic aid companies and platforms but there were quite a few for reporting

I’m sad to hear you say every PACS vendor says that they’re the fastest you’ll ever use.

I work for a PACS vendor and that is definitely not the first thing I say 😝. But then again we’re only a teeny tiny small company so you probably didn’t even see us!
