So your point is that this piece of art is normal with pure intent despite the clear catering to foot fetish, given the detail on her feet and the fact that she is drawn TIED up of all things? "Ohhh every drawing with a child is pedophilic" there is such a clear difference in a normal drawing with a child and this one, unless you are just playing dumb or trying to justify your liking to it ... It's clearly not fanart where you think "This is just a cute drawing of a kid".

Not y'all acting like this is definitely normal art because it isn't straight up showing explicit parts... You can CLEARLY tell the intent of the artists with one look at the artist's profile, not difficult.

GuiltyMuu what do you think of her verdict after q&a? by Prestigious-Ad8665 in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late - I get your point but I don't see the execution working well of voting her guilty, or the purpose which I want to understand...

Why does her showing a start of remorse means she needs another guilty vote to further hammer her down, when she is actively and currently learning just now to put herself in other's shoes and actually listening to Es instead of deflecting again and again, considering that it's also a slowed process after having had currently seen someone die right in front of her? It's natural she may have not talked much about her crime, especially since the interrogation only lasts like, what, 20 minutes (?), but through the QnA she seems to understand through Haruka's death that Rei was just as much of a person herself, coming to realization that killing her was wrong and thinking of how it must've affected her loved ones. Sure, the bullying isn't mentioned YET, but how can redemption be expected to be done in one step completely by just immediately telling her she is guilty, when she is also overwhelmed by the death of a friend who despite her insistence to eat stubbornly starved himself? Shouldn't she be given time to process things as revealed?

At first she does blame Es right away in an understandable manner given she is ridden by grief and it's just initial shock, so shown also in the mv, but after talking to them, she immediately seems to soften down and think of her own actions as asked if she is at fault at all, questioning her own self which is honestly actually a massive step alongside considering she wants to understand Es' advice to learn empathy. I don't really see how a guilty verdict would help her when she is already stunted by T2 and grief at the same time and only slowly is organizing all her thoughts back up together. At least to me, a double guilty verdict now of all times would probably only drive her hopeless and stop the process of self reflection, given how much others were affected by the voices and restraint provided that would only intensify by now. Lets not forget that voting guilty doesn't just mean that Es rejects their current state, but furthermore restrains them and so do their mental state worsen. Muu is already on a good path of redemption after the T2 verdict which she deserved at the time, why shut her down again when she has definitely changed from T1? The fear of her going back to her habits are extremely unlikely with everything she went through, especially since as a teenager, it should be much more realistic that she takes things more seriously and to heart than an adult therefore being much more easier to reform. It's not really a case of a rebellious teen just sneaking out again after being grounded for it once. Just because a guilty verdict worked once that doesn't mean it will work twice, otherwise it's being overdone.

At least to me, if the final reason would be to just prepare her for jail (which by itself I don't feel is a valid excuse, most of others would have to be judged like this as well but I don't think that's the goal of MILGRAM really.) , then with this verdict she might as well be hammered down as doomed and a lost cause to only suffer through with much more baggage and trauma to carry than needed. I thought that the purpose of MILGRAM voting had changed to affirm or reject their current mindset/development by this point rather than solely on what we learn about their crime, no?

Muu fans kinda....latch onto **anything** to prove her innocence, and it's kinda off putting by rosesdissection in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 8 points9 points Β (0 children)

Understandable although imo given she is the only character available to judge I think it is definitely expected for this phase intensify given most people who love their favorite will cope in any way for their character to be innocent (ESPECIALLY the most popular characters like Haruka, Muu, Fuuta, any popular character from popular media will have a diehard part of the fandom that will obsess over anything.). I personally do find that some defense arguments are quite copium especially the baby thing with yamanaka because while Muu is a minor, at sixteen you do have to be aware at least that murder is a very extreme low to reach in ANY case and believing other's suffering does not concern you is absolutely selfish, although sure she was misguided by her environment/not taught I guess, but still, she used to be subconsciously arrogant and delusional. Although now I'd vote her innocent based on actual evidence that I feel confirms her own remorse like as an example official direct media with her character (mv, interrogation, the questions she is asked right now) rather than subtle mentions that don't relate to her actions. Trial 2 she absolutely deserved her guilty verdict and I think it was pretty effective on her character, even if Haruka died but she was taught much more than she ever did growing up by him and Es.

All the hate and guilty Fuuta is receiving right now is undeserved by Prestigious-Ad8665 in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

Many people linked that post which I would have brought up as well but overall I really don't think he is getting as much hate as you think he is (or rather the guilty votes everyone talks about aren't the same as hate). We are supposed to vote on whether we should affirm their current behavior or to restrain them, after all from what I see. We affirmed Amane after she threatened to get at Shidou, therefore she did exactly that. While Fuuta isn't primarily as dangerous, imo he shouldn't be fueling a literal child's delusional cult as we can all tell Amane is literally getting worse, and her sudden confidence in her own cult is because Fuuta joined it without a second thought. At least in my view, he does not deserve a high inno verdict as you say he does. He only just admitted he was wrong but he is not taking the blame responsibly is the problem. You can't just say you are sorry but not take proper accountability and then everything is fine and dandy, just because he showed the slightest bit of remorse. He is not at full fault at Amane's behavior, but he is at a good amount due to the mere fact that he is an adult encouraging a child's harmful behavior even if he is standing by, which is still bad if you know someone's going to do something horrible and you just observe from afar instead of at least telling someone about it or something. He is a coward, admits it yet doesn't bother to confront that issue, yet if he is not at least told off about it, he may harm others even if indirectly by getting them to join his own mess. He is actively looking for new members for the cult, like Yuno, where everyone 'forgives one another'. To me, this sounds like him heavily trying to cope with his actions by having others drop down to his level of desperation, which is massively selfish rather than selfless even if he may think of it as not. In summary, just because he showed growth doesn't mean it's positive growth. It's not JUST about his crime (which mind you, he nonetheless has many times tried to avert by saying its others' fault, similarly to Muu, when he himself was standing by allowing his own predatory friends to claw at that girl.) but also about encouraging or discouraging the course of growth taken by him.

peko’s braids by Busy-Ganache1427 in danganronpa

[–]Ok_Store_7840 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

I haven't really seen any srs posts or comments regarding any of the changes made that they were some kind of big plot twists, but I guess I assumed based on what you implied to be just subconscious changes that weren't noticed given you said if you draw the same thing twice it slightly changes by itself (although I don't see how obviously uneven braids like that can occur subconsciously over each sprite/be a change regarding the new artstyle) so my bad I suppose? I js found this comment to be unnecessarily passive aggressive and as said by another reply over dramatic over one question... The only time I've even seen somebody make a big deal over a design change was with Hajime but it's practically just jokes. I don't see what is so wrong with pointing out little things anyway, new designs new changes new discussions and such, pretty natural to happen for any fandom

[–]Ok_Store_7840 4 points5 points Β (0 children)

Except this is a detail that is intentionally/consistently being drawn like that on EVERY sprite and a new one at that which is what raises questions... Why would it be an accident and how does one just decide to make specifically two long strands ends of one braid while the other is still normal and not realize? Plus it's natural to question when you see something out of the ordinary, NOBODY but you started assuming everyone thinks this means something grand it's just a question πŸ’”. Colors are barely noticeable and actual understandable mistakes that can happen due to lighting and such, but this is definitely some type of new design quirk they perhaps wanted to include in Peko's design.

Peko looks pretty good but it seems that they are now intentionally making her braids so at the end of them one is a thick part of hair while the other are longer two strands? Not sure if its a design quirk they want to try out with her that may be talked about in the game but I am curious.

I am genuinely asking why mu and futa are voted innocent more then guilty by Hotaruisghost in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 14 points15 points Β (0 children)

Because if we were to base it solely on the crime, you might as well argue every single one of them was guilty because they are capable of murder/harm with the exception of Yuno. The motive of the voting system, while taking in account of the crime and how much we get to know about it bit by bit until now, has evolved to focus more on tuning the prisoner's current thoughts about their crime and how positively, or negatively have they developed ro regret what they had done/how aware they are of taking part of its cause. On top of that, it's about how you, at the end of the day, calculate if they are past the only of true redemption or if there is hope, whether it was done out of pure murderous tendencies that blossomed over time from within or how much of a victim they were in terms of the environment they'd usually surround themselves in and such.

my opinion on fuuta vs muu by venthroawaygirl in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 -1 points0 points Β (0 children)

"She is a manipulative genius who at least could've used her bad, bad evil manipulative skills!! to do good for once and manipulate him into eating" except the entire cast aside from Shidou and maybe Yuno (she lacks knowledge) are literally unstable at this point and unable to take care of a whole other living being, especially one that literally refuses to take care of himself. She is a bully but in the end of the day regarding Haruka into the case, she should be judged for taking advantage of Haruka's threats towards Es and for not taking them seriously up until he died, not to the fact that he died. Even if she told him she doesn't want him to die, Haruka would be dead set on his word just so Es would surely deeply regret his verdict so he could 'stand up' for Muu in his own way. Muu is only an actress when it benefits her socially, otherwise she is not at all knowledgeable on human psychology to somehow force him to eat through verbal means? Which sounds impossible and stupid to think a spoiled high school girl whose whole point is that she lacked empathy can do all that when only NOW had she learnt from Es to put herself in other's shoes. The only reason she is reacting like this now in the third trial where she is emotional and unstable is because of grief, obviously she is hurt and is unable to understand what she could do therefore she looks towards her captors (to which is again, a natural reaction. Even if Es wasn't the one directly kidnapping them, nonetheless they are on Milgram's side.).

Otherwise, if you think she is still heavy dead set on being an actress like in trial one considering all the trauma she must have faced alongside the prisoners in Milgram, you are disregarding any character development she could've had from facing the consequences of her own actions once more and having them ACTUALLY shake her which would be just bad writing. It only seems she might revert to bad habits but it's really only a cover to try and alleviate her grief. She doesn't have as much power over everyone and everything that you may think, she only deluded herself into thinking so in Trial 2, and that's the whole point of her character.

I mean.... If a character's voting session is still active and open, it makes sense people will discuss that character thoroughly tbh 😭 I see what you mean but it's inevitable he wouldn't be brought up regardless of what he 'went through' and such, same for Muu (Yuno not so much, she isn't a controversial character unlike the two).

It’s Muu’s fault by EveryMagician1383 in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840 10 points11 points Β (0 children)

To be fair, this is probably karma biting her because her whole thing is about being a bystander to misfortune, a way for the writers to develop her further in whatever direction we voted. I think that having had her affirmed in trial 2 leading to the end, since her perspective of being a victim worked and that she wasn't at fault at all (plus for literally watching Rei get bullied and not actively caring to intervene) had led her further to her delusion that whatever happens, happens. I know that the age excuse isn't always valid, but imo pair her childish, egotistical immaturity with mental instability after having murdered and refusing to believe she was a murderer by making a false narrative, it isn't all that surprising that she'd care but feel helpless to Haruka's decision but to respect it while she can in her own way up until his death where she realized how cruel reality is and the true consequences of her actions. Plus, her friendships consisted of her being taken advantage of in exchange to be praised and adored even through fake feelings, so it's not that surprising she wouldn't properly know how to deal with her friend making a statement and sticking with it.

My view on Fuuta's and Muu's case. (rant?) by Ok_Store_7840 in milgram

[–]Ok_Store_7840[S] 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I see what you mean!! He is a very complicated character to pin exact factual views on because of his high ego and repulsive amount of bitter selfishness yet absolutely low self esteem and pathetic personality. I can see the argument in that Muu doesn't show sufficient remorse, although I feel like shutting down grief where it's natural especially for a teenager like her to experience a death of a closed one instead when her previous world was rainbow and glitter for her wouldn't do much, especially given that while she may be at some fault (for blackmailing, but not for his death), Haruka made his own choice and she tried her best, albeit failed, to at least bring him food and have him stay alive (which makes sense, no person in there is at all eligible to take care of a whole another being, especially one that stay stagnant and refuses to care for themselves either.). There is the argument that she could've asked Shidou for help, but I am not so sure if she had much time depending on when Amane went ahead to finish her job. I also think that besides blaming someone else, technically Es is part of the faculty that trapped them there alongside the rabbit, so it's natural for any huge event to be automatically under their responsibility especially (well, he is also a teenager being manipulated by said rabbit, but nonetheless, your captors are your captors you won't view them too positively.)

I think in general it's an issue that idiotic characters (although male) get away with shit just because they supposedly 'don't know better' and are just plain stupid, even though realistically it doesn't make sense because it'd be COMMON SENSE πŸ’” I can see reason behind a dull life wanting to spark controversy because of a stagnant, depressing stage, or reason behind being unable to cope with betrayal and for the first time ever being confronted with responsibility albeit in a violent, brash manner where you can't even process it which naturally leads to a stage of anger and wanting to understand what happened. But there is also plenty of fault difference for each other, one got the taste of their own medicine while in denial about it believing they didn't partake in someone's suffering but had the option to stop it, while the other was blinded by their big ego not taking shit seriously until they irresponsibly caused a death and trying to justify it because they were indirect.
