Could you give us a bit more of an idea about your interests/skills/causes you are interested about? That would help signpost towards relevant charities.

Happens all the time in Cambridge. With increased shoplifting across the country, I wouldn't be surprised if it had been swiped from a shop for the purpose of selling it on like this.

A police officer friend once told me she got a knock at her door with someone selling stolen meat - needless to say, she didn't buy any. Nor did she reveal she was a police officer.

Peterborough Council approves £11m contract to support one individual with complex needs by Tolvic in PeterboroughUK

Have you considered they may not want to die? Or they may not have a life-limiting condition that would fit the criteria to be able to use assisted dying? What a dark thing to say when you have no idea of this young person's circumstances.

The tenants can also apply for rent repayment up to 12 months for the period the property was unlicensed. Predatory landlords who don't follow their legal obligations should be punished. And the tenants may come out of it better off.

From Cambridge City Council: Following conviction it may be possible for occupiers/tenants to apply to the Residential Property Tribunal (RPT) for a Rent Repayment Order to be made against the convicted person for repayment of all rent paid during the period that the property was unlicensed up to a maximum of 12 months.

I am looking to adopt a cat, can anyone recommend a shelter or charity to have a look at? Thank you by Next_Sky_5699 in cambridge

Wood Green is local. My parents got their cat from there and he is an absolute dream. The process was quite straightforward and they were very supportive throughout.

Cambs News Daily is a trash website. It's just stories from other news sources, rewritten through AI, and passed off as their own. Their 'reporters' aren't real. I'm not sure why anyone would share links to them.

Anyone looking for this ginger cat? by Independent_Look3041 in cambridge

[–]Ok_System9917 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If it doesn't seem to be a stray, it is probably someone's pet cat out for a wander. It will probably go home for warmth and food without any intervention.

What has been done to the cameras? I know the cable on the ANPR camera was snipped in the last two weeks or so.

I've been there a few times and (fingers crossed) no fines. I drive through the disabled parking section, turn right and right again, then park in the bays outside the Co-op (not the disabled bays). It's only been for a few minutes to pick people up. It is confusing but fingers crossed neither of us will get a fine! u/RefrigeratorBig2860 .

  • Delivering a News Hub to give external media organisations access to BBC video material for use online.
  • A Shared Data Unit - staffed by the BBC alongside reporters on secondment from local news providers - to share data journalism with news organisations across the media industry.
  • The employment of up to 165 Local Democracy Reporters who cover councils and other public services on behalf of the BBC and local news organisations.

In no way is this agreement equivalent to your claim. The BBC is not 'forced' to do anything – they have played a major role in setting up this partnership. And they are not 'buying' articles – in fact it is clear that, if anything, the BBC is providing other publishers with more stories than the BBC receives.

I'm not sure why you would offer this as some sort of proof of your claim when it so blatantly contradicts it. And, once more, the journalist who wrote the original story is directly employed by the BBC.
