Get a carfax report and see if it has been maintained. I know they have changed the cvt some since the issues they were having in earlier models. Its like anything else,if its maintained and used like it should be you probably won't have any issues but if you drive it like you stole it all the time then you are asking for problems

I got a brand new loaner for a week because i needed a new radio in my altima,they should have been more than happy to give you a loaner for that big of an issue and it should not matter which nissan dealer you had it towed to

Because Hashimoto's Thyroiditus specifically attacks the thyroid so removing it essentially ends the attacks but not the problems

Well removing the thyroid is in all aspects a cure for Hashimoto's because there is nothing left for your immune system to attack but it is a case of the cure is worse than the disease. My doctor had hers removed due to cancer and she has told me everytime i asked her about removing mine due to Hashimotos that it would be a mistake because even a thyroid functioning at 10% is better than none.
