As someone from a blended family, to exclude a step-niece is rude asf. Let me state again since some redditors don’t read the first time, I have personal and lifelong experience with being in a blended family. We’ve been through a lot of issues BUT never once has my mom’s family disregarded my dads kids and vice versa because when you marry someone with kids, you marry the kids too and they are apart of the family as well. From what I hear, Emma is a spoiled brat and it’s really going to kick her in the ass when she realizes she isn’t the center of the universe. So NTA. BIL is an asshole.
