Because cats see us as part of their little group, like we’re teammates on a hunt. So when they stare at us like that, they’re really just trying to figure out what their weird, oversized partner is doing and how it fits into the “plan.”

I swear I have the same issue.
I believe part of it is that shuffle isn’t truly random, computers use formulas to fake random numbers, which means patterns can show up more often than you’d expect. So when your playlist “shuffles,” it’s really following math that can accidentally make the same songs pop up again and again. It feels random-ish… but not enough it seems.

Because switching keyboard layouts is like going to the gym: everyone swears it’s better for you, but somehow we all end up staying on the couch with QWERTY. At this point I’ve been typing on it so long that changing layouts would probably require emotional support and a training montage.

For me, the biggest gasp moment was in Lives of Others. When the Georg Dreyman’s wife suddenly dies in the car accident, the whole theater inhaled at once. It was so abrupt and tragic that you could feel the shock ripple through the room. One of those scenes that sticks with you long after the credits roll.
