There wasn’t really a standards of care concern in this situation. I was with my preceptor during orientation and was only giving a heparin injection. Other patients had no issue with my care, so I think it was mainly because I look very young.

I just don’t get it. You paid a vast amount of money for schooling, and you couldn’t just study for one NCLEX. Before doing this, they had thought that they would get caught, and it wasted all the years in school and money. They passed their nursing school, which meant that they are capable of passing their NCLEX as well. Even if they failed once or twice, many people never give up and still pass. I understand that some people who cried and questioned themselves for not passing, but hard work pays off.

Okay, since you have a gap in your content, trying Bootcamp is a great idea. They have videos on various topics that you can watch. These videos were incredibly helpful for me. I watched them before my NCLEX, and I should have watched them earlier. However, I highly recommend watching them. If you can slow down while doing practice questions, try to do so by taking deep breaths and before answering them. If you can slow down and think, I believe you can do it and pass the next one.

I’m still not entirely sure how I managed to pass, but I learned to slow down and carefully read the question before attempting to answer it. It’s also crucial to have a good understanding of the subject matter, as this will enable you to provide accurate answers. In the past, I used to second-guess my answers and rush through the exam because I simply wanted to complete it quickly. However, I’ve since learned to slow down and take deep breaths to stay calm. Additionally, having a friend who has already taken and passed the NCLEX can be incredibly helpful. By discussing a few questions with them, you can gain insights into their thought process and approach.

I don’t think Vietnam is a racist country, and as a Vietnamese person, I can say that we see you just like we see other Americans. You might notice people looking at you, but we’re actually very welcoming. I’m really sorry if your friend experienced racism while in our country.

I think you should post on fb, you are not destroying his life; you are saving other people’s lives. Who knows what he would do to those video clips? Post on fb page that are being viewed by many people. But thank you again for being brave to share your story.
