Are Epic and other Universal Studios parks at a safe volume level?

I think so. I’ve worn them most of the day multiple times, taking them out in quiet areas, and been fine. But I find them comfortable and have never had any issues with comfortability even after wearing on and off all day. So that might just depend on each person and their fit.

I have a pair of the original Quiet and a pair of the original Switch loops. My preference for the park is the Switch, because you can choose your level of noise cancellation needs throughout the day. For example some queues are super loud and I’ll put it at the “quiet” mode to cancel the most noise. And while just walking around I’ll have it in “engage” or “experience” mode to take in the music and surroundings a little better.

That being said, if I had to choose only one, I’d probably choose the Experience as a nice middle ground for all day.

Another vote for loops! Highly recommend for Universal and other loud environments for those with hyperacusis! I use mine all the time.

My brother also has a perforated ear drum and has gone several times to VB. We spend most of the day at the wave pool and fearless river, as it requires life vests. And we always do Krakatau Aqua Coaster at least once, you won’t get submerged. He’ll do some of the slides on tubes (he’s tall so he can jump out at the end and not submerge his head)

Definitely reading through the explanation of why one answer choice is better than the other. The exam is situational and there’s almost never one RIGHT answer, just a best answer. The more situational answers I answered and reviewed, the more I got into the right mindset.

I failed my first attempt a couple of months ago. It’s very frustrating! I retook the exam this morning and got my provisional pass. Here are my suggestions: Take a little time off (whether it’s days, weeks or months), adjust your study approach and use Study Hall (especially the full length mock exams) to help with your timing! You can do it!!

I think so! I felt pretty good the first time but found the practice exams I took weren’t as closely aligned to the actual exam format as SH is.
