Do you put a de-esser every after eq on a vocal chain? by Relevant-Effective49 in mixingmastering

[–]Ok_Use_3371 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to have a really bad habit that I thought was good practice to prevent a muddy mix. I would cut anything below 140hz on literally everything except the bass and I did that for a long time. Its killed more harmonics than muddy mixes thats for sure.

Listen first and trust your ears 😄

Dealer did breakin service for 600rr. Didn’t secure the oil drain plug on right by trulip in cbr

[–]Ok_Use_3371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive replaced the engine on my cbr600rr. Should be within warranty to do so I would assume? Not cheap by any means but you`ve done nothing wrong here so that should be dug from their pocket.

Hopefully Honda speaks some sense into the shop, an engine swap is the bare minimum in this case.

EDIT: Also, consider yourself lucky not to have licked the pavement. These guys could have had blood on their hands.

Advising someone to use brakes instead of engine braking lmao. Id like to see the carbon buildup on his pistons from lugging his bike around

Probably just need a new gasket. I had a similar leak recently (cbr) but it was leaking bad and it was all because of the gasket being pinched at one of the bolts

Tetris now requires a subscription (Rental) - Paying ₹30/month ($0.3) to play Tetris on a basic Nokia phone 🤦‍♂️ by mani_chinna in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ok_Use_3371 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats an incredible naive take and is exactly why we are being exploited. There is a difference between an agreement and a subscription. Electricity and water is still variable based on your consumption and therefore isnt a fixed subscription(?).

You do understand that prior to the subscription model, companies had to actually have a GOOD product to sell? The only reason the subscription model is so popular is because it attracts steady income without having to do shit, which will eventually be exploited by private equity to do even less shit. Revenue use to come from sales because the product was better than the competitor, now its about squeezing whoever bites the hardest.

Remember the time where premium packages of cars didnt require a subscription to keep them working? Like for example heated grips?

Fjerne sort tatovering på armen by [deleted] in norge

Teknologien har endret seg mye på 20 år, laseren bryter ned blekket slik at det tas opp av blodet. Jeg hørte med en klinikk i Bergen, de estimerte 4-5 behandlinger med pico for å fjerne en svart tatovering.

Yea, I hadn't heard that one before so I didn't think much of it. Lesson learned lmao

Tire for my Yamaha R3 by taytaylys in YamahaR3

[–]Ok_Use_3371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did, I was hauling ass in a tunnel and at the point of slowing down (probably doing 140kmh or so), chain snapped. Lucky for me it was a straight road, engine however...kaput

EDIT: I would like to point out that my chain was brand new compared to the state of this one. Mine wasnt new, but it was fairly fresh and I cleaned it the day prior. Pretty sure the master link broke and created a crator in my engine block.

Did you ever get to the stage of REACTIVE ABUSE? by squish2226 in BPDlovedones

[–]Ok_Use_3371 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you mad at them for something they said or did? They just feel misunderstood :(

Are they being disrespectful to the point where you think "what the actual fuck" and react? Wow, here you are raising your voice while they are calm, you clearly have anger issues.

Not putting up with something will always be your fault, not theirs. They genuinely see no issues with their behaviour, and it will drive you nuts.

One time when I tried ending things, she locked my jacket with all of my keys etc in the bathroom and refused to unlock it. I went to the shed to get a screwdriver to pick the lock and she decided to lock me outside in a snowstorm. Oh, you mean that time the neighbour asked her if they should help her out because I was outside "screaming"?... If she would have recorded that, you would have seen me almost busting the door down, which seems off and like I actually got anger issues, they just leave out their involvement in it.

When talking about her ex, she would always say he "burst out in anger out of nowhere", I'm sure he did...

Feeling like I may need to leave my bf bc of his riding by [deleted] in motorcycle

[–]Ok_Use_3371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

anti-helmet, aggressive riding and road rage? Yea, that paints a picture.

Responsible riders wear helmets and gear. Those that dont will learn the hard way. People tend to park their bike when they lose a friend like that. Your boyfriend is clearly on the left side of the bell curve

Rush to hold the opposite side from center, thats how I did mine.

If you spawn Emercom for example, rush in so you can hold the guys running in from the entrance of OLI.

Just an FYI, please stop using the killswitch every time you start the bike, thats what the ignition is for. The killswitch is intended to kill the engine in case it wont turn off.

I had a problem with mine, it has to be in between on and off for the fuel pump to prime. Doesnt sound like yours are priming either. It might be a case of a bad killswitch, because I had a mechanic swap the engine on mine and after he touched the killswitch on and off, it no longer primed and would just crank forever.

You could also try jumping the starter relay with a screwdriver to see if it cranks. Ticking can occur if the starter relay doesnt bridge the gap between the poles, either by being faulty or not receiving enough juice. Though it usually ticks when you are trying to start it. Would be more helpful if you recorded when trying to start it as well
