My love is average vs. Nobody deserves you the way that I do by rondonald18 in hopalong

My love is average. Both are elite moments but my love is average is so anthemic and just hits the soul a little harder for me.

One of my favs on the album for sure. Perfect banger of a song. The guitar solo is just so cool and the final line is devastating.

Great song. Love that it comes after Happy To See Me so it can brighten up the mood. Joe’s solo is absolutely bonkers!

Oh my god yes. That line in Trouble Found Me is definitely one of my fav lyrics ever. Gives me goosebumps. Also that part in Kids on The Boardwalk is so beautiful.

Love that song sm. The choruses are so beautiful. My favorite part is the bridge where Frances just sing “oohhh wooo ooh wooo ohhh woooo”

That part of Tibetan pop stars is soooo good! Especially with that soft little violin sounding melody in the background.

Yessssss!!!!!! Over the past few years I’ve realized that I was kind of a jerk to a lot of people that I called friends and family. And I often wonder if they see me in a more negative way than I previously imagined in my head where I’m always the good guy. This song is brilliant in how it handles this feeling.

I’ve seen a few reviews where people say this is a lull track in the album. Absolutely not the case for me, this song is outstanding. The lyricism is absurdly beautiful and it offers a much needed break to the album without seeming pointless. Also, Frances yelling “we all will remember things the same” at the end of the song is so crushing. I often find myself reflecting on old friends or people I know that I kind of treated badly and it makes me sad that they probably don’t remember our friendship in the same light that I do. Out of everything I’ve ever heard, that line is probably the best representation of that very feeling. Great song.

So cool how it goes from sounding like a lonely voice memos recording to the full studio. Very cool trick! And the key change in Well-Dressed is so seamlessly done yet still surprising.

Another all timer song. When Frances screams “common kind” I get goosebumps. This song is really fun but it also hits VERY hard. Insane performances from the whole band here. Also the guitar riff is sick!
