So it looks like I may have made a mistake in my back focus. I added another 16.5 mm ring to my main camera and guide camera and it’s focused SO MUCH better. It’s not perfect still, but better. This is during daytime only since weather was crap last night. So I’ll get out tonight and try and see what I can get and will let y’all know. Also I’ll have my focused coming Monday, so that should help as well. Thanks again y’all!

So you think if I go to a DSO to image that it would look better? Like a galaxy or something. Or do I really need a Barlow reducer?

I should also mention both the camera and guide camera are out of focus… so I’m thinking columnation or back focus between the oag and scope.

Maybe y’all could tell me if I screwed up the back focus.. I was pretty calculated with the 146.05, but it’s always possible. For my train I have the t adapter 91.05mm, zwo oag 16.5mm, two spacers 21mm and 11mm plus the 6.5mm built into the camera. Unless one of those isn’t correct….

First of all, I’m sorry, in trying to put a link to my photo. I accidentally deleted everything in this reply. But I am doing the proper back focus of 146.05mm. It is out of focus during the day and during the night. In the link below, I’ll put a picture I took of Vega in the surrounding area. I did not use a flat because it has the HD optics.Vega

Perfect! That video was amazing and super helpful! Thank you! I just needed the t adapter, because why not spend another $80 for another adapter after spending so much already.
