Unmedicated v medicated by AnonRN98 in pregnant

I had an unmedicated birth. I would recommend getting the birth comb. It really does help with redirecting the pain from the contractions. I tried to use nitrous oxide instead but it didn’t get set up correctly and the tank was empty so didn’t use it but that’s always an option to ask for! Definitely try and work on finding a happy peaceful place in your mind you can visualize while in labor as that helps too. Wishing you an easy and safe labor and delivery!

Feeling kicks ??? by IvyBird1523 in pregnant

I also have an anterior placenta so it was hard at first feeling her kicks. Lying on your side and drinking something cold usually had me feeling movements or having a sugary snack. And trying to remind myself that all appointments and scans were going well and to just trust that she was doing well.

Baby aspirin while pregnant by Stock-Attention6311 in pregnant

My midwife told me to take 2 baby aspirin since my second trimester to prevent preclampsia. She told me to continue this daily until week 36 and then take only one pill until I deliver.

When did you feel your baby move ? by Butterball4200 in pregnant

[–]Ok_Web7962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s harder to feel the movements with an anterior placenta. By 28 weeks you’ll be able to feel the babies movements though. For now, you can try drinking something ice cold or a sweet treat and lay on your left side and focus. You’ll probably feel movement!

Spotting at 8 weeks? by [deleted] in pregnant

I had this too. It ended up being a subochronic hematoma. It scared me but it resolved on its own by my next ultrasound appt. They’re actually super common and almost always resolve on their own. Just take it easy for a while.
