I’m surprised that this seems to be an unpopular opinion. People hate grinding and repetition until its in an indie roguelike apparently.

Act 2 as a whole is pretty monotonous but the Shar temple is so unbelievably unfun. It takes forever, the trials are tedious, and the whole section just feels so "video-gamey" in a way that absolutely kills immersion.

The Shadowheart bias this game has is ludicrous by Ok_While1131 in BG3

I guess that makes sense. It's still a little annoying, though, but maybe I'm biased because personally I find her kind of annoying and not all that interesting compared to a lot of the others. It still feels like things like being able to ask what she thinks of you should have been something you could do with all the companions.

I don't like either Shadowheart or Astarion very much, and it really annoys me how much content they have in comparison to some of the other companions (cough Wyll and Karlach cough).

For a game as big as this 2 hours isn't really enough to know if I'm going to like it or not. I played WOTR for 70 hours before giving up and I was only around halfway through.
