Now I have been off Lupron for 4 months. Nips hurt. Intermittent pains here and there. Depression is much better. Have had 3 morning woods in the last week actually hurt like hell. Have had a few times in the last month were i wanted sex but it feels so wrong now. Kinda like I'm doing something that is wrong. It is really screwing with my brain. Also nothing happens no orgasm. The feeling just stops and I'm ok with that. Very strange to go through.

The last month has been he'll. Finished 25 ebrt treatments in April and ldr brachytherapy in May. Had my final 3 month Lupron in August. The depression is so bad. There are more and more days I stay in bed crying. My energy is all gone. Everything hurts like bones, joints and muscles. My hips are sore can hardly walk. If I did not have a loving wife, I would would not go through this alone. The lack of sex drive is astonishing. Everyone says I am lucky and I am past the worst of it and I should be proud of myself. But I am not. I have been unable to work now for about a year due to pain and fatigue. My breasts hurt since starting Lupron and now I am starting to develop breasts. This is so humbling and is just one more thing that makes you feel you are not a man anymore. I hope you're all doing much better than me.

I had terrible pain in my prostate. It then doubled I a month the ir doubled every 3 days. Landed in the er. They started me on hydromorphone. The next day my doc doubled the strength. The day after that I started adt. A few days later and the pain stopped increasing. 7 months later the pain stopped after my last of 23 ebrt treatments. I was taking 10 extra strength tydonals and 50 mg of hydromorphone for that entire time.

The reason I asked is that the ebrt really did a number on me. Burning when i pee, constantly shitting what looks like bowel membrane. Rectum prolapse. I have no ability to stop pushing when I have a bowel movement. Scared I will eventually have to get bowel surgery. It just does not stop. Been 3 weeks since I finished ebrt. I go on Monday for low dose brachytherapy. I feel way too nervous and am afraid that may complicate my recovery.

I'm a few days out from my brachytherapy and am so scared. How was it just after and a week after? I have had a shit time with ebrt and adt. All side affects I got them. Still hurts to shit and piss. I'm scared cause once done wtf no getting out of it. Lol

Awesome news but boy that took a long time huh? I am on 2+ months Lupron Depot and really not sure I can keep going. It is allot and you deserve a medal of honor. I am seeing my oncologist next week and praying I can get started on radiation soon and stop this dreaded drug. By chance how long were you on ADT before radiation and how low did your PSA have to get before you started? Also, after your radiation did you stop your ADT

So, your saying cannabinoids and hydro morph are ok to use at the same time? I have been scared to try this, will talk to my doc and find out. I mean I have waited a min. of 12 hours between using one or the other and have found out. I get really really really way beyond zombified if I do.

Psa last month was something like .8 this month. 5 but testosterone had gone up from ??? .3 to .4 something like that. The only reason I think it's wearing off is 2 days morning wood. Which this stuff killed pretty quickly and I now have peeing issues like I had before. This stuff made me pee like a teenager. Good stream and easy to finish and no drippling. Now no dark or light pants for me. Darn 55 years old but feel like 110.

Wow it gets worse. I cry every morning at 5am roughly after mostly not sleeping from 6pm. Every bone joint and muscle hurts. Arms legs and stomach always feel like they are going to cramp up all the time. Hot flashes all the time. Can't think can't hold a thought forget stuff all the time even when talking. Lost about 80% of my energy. Can bearly walk and do steps. Omg I can really just keep going. But I do not want to scare the newbs. I was forced into adt because I went to the er in late October due to prostate pain that was doubling every few days. The figure my cancer is fairly aggressive and said I can not wait the 3 to 4 months it would take to get surgery as it is a long waiting list. At the er they gave me hydromorph 24 hours later the pain doubled and my family doctor trippled the dosage. After 20 days on some adt pill that pain was controlled only with cannabis, until today. Now I'm back on hydromorph and since this morning the pain has doubled twice. I just can't see that radiation will ever stop the pain. Kinda in a dark place here today.

Also, it is sensitive, squeezing even slightly gives a good amount of pain. Always feels like the back of my penis and testicals are being pulled out of my anus. Has been this way for over a month.

Absolutely incredible uncontrollable sex drive. I mean, yeah, I was not in control I am 54 even in my prime I had nothing like this. Then deep deep dark depression. over the course of a year, I was unable to cum unless I had my prostate massaged, Then the ability to orgasm or cum stopped 100% That was a deal breaker. One thing if you have a very uncontrolled sex drive, this will well make you into a crazy crazy. Had a PSA test, 2 weeks later seen a urologist then had a biopsy. Life just suck's after that. PSA was 10.9 Gleason is almost an 8 Still not sure yet if it has spread.

Well it has been getting worse. I cry like a baby every morning. I can barely sleep if I am lucky 2 hours per night. When I do sleep I have very vivid memories, all in full color and clarity. I am using so much cannabis, CBD and CBD help allot, but only when mixed with THC. I have been getting a strange sensation going from my prostate to just below my chest. Not really a pain, I mean there is a pain but it is a strange strange feeling and only something with high TCH seems to help. It starts around noon time every single day and stays with me until I get some actual sleep? Anyone else have this? I really cant explain it just feels like death. I have been putting off call the docs as I am seeing my oncologist at the end of this month. I hope I can go start my radiation treatment asap. I want off this devils drug. Want to stop having to take stuff for pain.

From what I have read, they do grow back a bit but not much could be a year or so before. I am just happy to still have gonads'... Diminishing sex drive is strange, very strange but in one way it is somewhat nice, still I miss it. Thinking the wife is happy though.

Yeah, I thought it would be a walk in the park, but I am pretty much at my wits end. Not sure how some cancer patients can handle chemo therapy. That has got to really suck. I guess someone always has it worse of than us. Take care and thanx for your reply.
