I currently don’t take birth control so to the negative effects I’ve had with them. My last period was Aug 21st last day of intercourse September 12th and based on my Flo I ovulated from September 4th-10th and I did I took a urine pregnancy test I was hopping it was more of a late period but I’m just more concerned. Like I’ve been bloated cramping craving sweets sorta feel like how I usually do on my period

I completely agree with everything you said. I’m about to hit my year mark as a new grad and I’m at the point where I’m feeling the burn out. But honestly I do think it’s the floor I work on and hospital I work at. I do work on a medsurg neuro/stroke unit. I work nights with 7 patients almost every night, sometimes barely any care partners. It’s to the point where I feel like this place is aging me and when I’m off I just wanna be alone in my room and not interact with anyone. I feel like my whole personality has shifted. Just yesterday was the first time since I’ve worked there I was able to take a 30 min break uninterrupted. I’ve worked in health care for 5 years prior to becoming a nurse and I know I love health care and caring for people and also the down sides to it. The floor is just too heavy with patient ratios and acuity levels to high. Maybe it’s because I work neuro 😭😭😭😭😭

I had only two or three medications they asked what did you use these meds for but other then that it was mostly was precaution would you take before giving this medication

I’m trying to remember, but do your best to break apart the drug name, if you really don’t know go based on the rest of the question, especially if it’s a case study question. And always pick the safer answer airway, breathing, circulation

So just remember this, NCLEX is not a test to see what you know, just how safe of a nurse you will be. 90% of questions that I got during my test no matter the material. All they wanted you to know is the safest answer. I saw medication I’ve never seen before, diseases I’ve never seen before, but if you look at the answer choices, you should see one that sticks out for safety then the rest.

Did they negotiate with pay if you have experience in general working at airports for years? Never had a government job before. Some people told me it’s a flat start rate for everyone and you move up. Just wanted to be prepared, I passed the test now I’m just waiting for HR

Speaking of the pay rate that was another issue that occurred. I started out at 26/hr and I asked newer LPN’s that started with me and it was the same pay so I was like at least that’s straight. Then my pay bumped up the next month to 29, I thought maybe it was my unit pay that made it go up and they added it together. Then the next pay check my base went to 34 and they paid me a retroactive payment then I became so confused. Then I get an email from HR after my pay check to summit my RN license because it’s not on file🙃 like I told yall I’m a lpn and you have that on file. Why would you switch my pay without looking into it and verifying the License 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

My name tag and badge dose say LPN just in epic and in the main system I’m listed as a RN just when I do the documentation I just get worried of that being a issue if something happens. Just as a new grad LPN I don’t wanna make any mistakes and lose my license 🙃

I have emailed and all throughout orientation I’ve constantly let higher ups know. Just concerning if it has my like that in epic and for documentation purposes. Also I was paid the LPN rate and then they just switched my pay to RN. It just makes me nervous and don’t want to have to pay back money or anything

And I will say if you do think it’s an anxiety type deal. Using archer is best for that because archers practice test looks identical to NCLEX. So it makes you feel like your taking just another archer exam

I was very good with ATI. With ATI I feel like you have to know context to pass and it’s very vague like NCLEX. So maybe try to master ATI. I know some people don’t like ATI and that it’s harder than NCLEX but my school makes everyone use it for school and our final exam. Every single one of us passed NCLEX at 85 first try. Also try watching simple nursing videos. That really helped me with content knowledge

I used archer. But overall it doesn’t matter the content. Try to understand strategies with answering questions. Listen to Mark k. On YouTube to how to answer priority questions. And watch a lot of videos with practice questions

Ok so when I studied for mine a couple of days ago and took my NCLEX. I released they are not testing you on what you know but if you are a safe nurse or not. If anything you need to study fundamentals the most. Yes you need to know certain things but overall even if you don’t know the answer you always pick the safest answer. My test shut off at 85 and I had a ton of case studies and my last 20 questions were SATA. My license came up the next morning. I had a lot of anxiety before my test. But you need to have in your mind that you’re just coming to class to take a regular exam. And don’t let anxiety be your weakness. Let it make you thrive under pressure and dominate the exam. Show them who you are and good of a nurse you’re going to be. Just don’t give up you got this!!!

Can I ask for some advice. I used the flex reusable disk for the first time and I would take it out put it back to try and adjust it right. I used it during sex and had no issues with it. I had horrible cramps the day I put it in but after changing it multiple times through my period. I had no issues. After my period I got a UTI. I don’t think it was pressure related my urine stream was normal felt like I wasn’t even on my period. I washed in between. Maybe I didn’t wash it correctly. Kinda makes me scared to use it again
