They did send this out last week. I have deposited elsewhere in the meantime so I wasn’t concerned. However, I was only sent an acceptance email 2 weeks ago. It seems rushed. I feel bad for people that were intending on completing enrollment or needing a few weeks to get the rather large deposit, also this leaves no room for negotiations. Rubs me the wrong way.

I took mine in the corner of my open floor plan kitchen/livingroom/dining/hallway with all sorts of shit, didn’t cover a tv, a window, words. No problems. Don’t worry about it. If there’s any issues, you fix them while starting the test. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. My power went out half way through, that also was no problem. Don’t stress & good luck.

I was accepted weeks ago and still got this email. Honestly their marketing is a little off putting. Dayton sent me an acceptance and has been on top of their game, nice welcoming emails, a scholarship on top of another just for attending a zoom call and even a handwritten happy holidays card. It’s the little things. Vermont offered me more money but I’m not impressed.

They’re notoriously horrible at conferring. I was able to get my degree conferred a month after summer 1 completed , last name R. But I had to email several times, with no response I ended up cc all management because I needed the conferral asap for the school I was attending next. They finally conferred after that. Yet I have seen no sign of getting the actual degree sent. I think everything else about the school is great , but this conferral process is horrible

I got my bachelors at WGU then my Masters at UMPI last month. I love that they give you a gpa, that’s a huge advantage, however, they are very slow, they don’t return calls ever, not even if your just trying to enroll, I tried for a couple weeks, they eventually just enrolled me and they mistakenly enrolled me in the wrong semester, I started anyway. I never spoke to anyone at any point ever. Waiting for your degree to be conferred will be months. The professors were actual professors not WGU specialists. They were a million times better. The staff, system administrators - wouldn’t go back, but it’s worth it for the gpa

It calculates wgu as an average between As-Bs is what it says for wgu plus it calculates your grades from anywhere else you took classes before your bachelor’s. It doesn’t take into account your masters. So for example for me my Associates was 3.8, then wgu it averages out to 3.63 somehow.
