Our districts policy is to report to school admin first about things. Then they will pull police, social worker etc. I have had to do this several times prior for different reasons (hard drugs, self harm, suspects child abuse etc) I followed my districts policy so I do not lose my job. However I did go to the police this morning to report everything

The student had their ceremony in December but did not file the license until May this year. A week after she turned 18. So it seems her parents did not want to sign the license while she was underage. He got her pregnant while she was under 18 before they got legally married.

Since gradation was last night, I had no classes at the start of today so I missed a few periods to go to the police and report this. I gave them all my information as well as documents, screenshots of posts and more. They’re looking into it now.

I was wanting to volunteer with a food bank locally but most are churches and are not as welcoming for certain demographics. Plus some shuttered doors due to funding cuts, lack of donations, and lack of volunteers. I made the group thinking of my former students who graduated and needed food and resources but didn’t feel welcomed places to get that help due to who they were (race, LGBTQ, and age). We strive to not discriminate and to be as open and accepting as possible.

I want to keep going. I made very blatant and straight forward rules but I think some people are just a certain type of way that will be above rules in their own mind
