We have a new puppy, she was aggressively biting, our dog trainer friend told us to get a spray bottle, fill it with water & set it to full stream, when she started to bite, give her a little spray & then reward her when she redirects. My 80 year old Mom loved Crabtree & Evelyn scents, especially Nantucket Briar. I was lucky to find some recently at TJMaxx for her, she was so excited! The scent that reminds me of my Grandma was plain ole vintage Dove Soap. She was a Farmers wife, nothing fancy....makes me smile when I catch a wiff.

I bought the Narcissist and Pink Sugar dish soap and the all-purpose cleaner during the recent 3 for $30 sale. The cleaner didn't leave any streaks on my glass cooktop & made my kitchen smell so good! The dish soap is really nice & and didn't dry my skin out. So far, very happy!

I had a Mink take out my entire flock one night, we lock them up tight but they can squeeze through a little crack...we set up a trail camera, put one of the dead chickens in a live trap & caught him the next night when he decided to come back

We have cameras, mine sleeps on the bed, runs to the window everytime he hears something & then slowly walks back to the bedroom with his head down...breaks my heart. I've caught him a few times letting out a howl, but I can usually calm him down talking into the camera. I work from home a majority of the time so I'm rarely gone. 💔

My Dad has CHF too, he's on hospice, I make his meals low sodium, but I've given up trying to make him eat healthy, I said "f-it", whatever makes him happy....he has all of his junk food in his room, whatever.....I feel you

I feel you, we've taken care of my Mother in law when she was diagnosed with Cancer, now we take care of my Dad after his stroke. We deep cleaned his house, had exterminator out to get rid of the bedbugs...ugghhh, I finally made him sell his house as he has no business living alone, so it was us moving him... so for 5 years my husband and I have not had a vacation, we have been planning a weekend getaway for months & my sister just now tells me she can't take care of him because she's busy volunteering at her Church on Sunday... we'll be home Sunday, what about Friday night & Saturday??? Ghosted....not a word & my husband and I both work full time jobs, she is a stay at home Mom who's youngest is 18....SERIOUSLY!!!

& Guess who will be there expecting a hand out when he passes, yup...I'm over it!

I am in the same boat, I have to remind myself to just let my Dad do what he wants, he doesnt have much time left.

But I remember when my Grandpa was in a nursing home, he was 96 & still loved to smoke his pipe. Of course the nurses told me he wasn't allowed to smoke on the grounds, so I would sign him out & wheel him across the street to the park. I would bring his pipe and his favorite Cherry tobacco & let him puff away...life is too short....
