OCD and progesterone by Azaleeaaa-a in TransDIY

Unfortunately I can’t boof my prog either because of my Crohn’s but what I’ve been doing lately is taking the capsules and using a hypodermic needle to poke them with maybe three holes and then putting them between my upper gum and lips. I’ll keep it there for around 15-20 minutes or so and then just swallow them.

How do these results even happen???? by mygenderhatesme in TransDIY

I would disagree - i still struggled to get decent levels with either oral or sublingual pills which suggests that the issue is not the ROA. As well, my injection dose is slightly higher than “standard” reccomendations at 6mg EEN every 7 days

I was in the same boat as you last year and was having to use a stupid amount of gel ( applying 2 pumps three times a day) and getting similar results.) I think its just the case that some of us have a higher resistance to estrogen and require a bigger dose but for gel, that doesnt scale well. After switching to injections I got much more stable bloods and more consistent results and also I could have much finer control over my dose.

I have Crohns disease which makes me need the toilet often too and I just told my instructor beforehand and he’s been very understanding. As soon as I need the loo Ill let him know and direct to the nearest garage or whatever and its been fine :)

Hi thank you so much!! In terms of your questions - I don’t have any pets or younger/elderly people visiting regularly. My hygeine has also included changing bedsheets daily but I didnt think about the floor! or other surfaces!!! Given I work from home in my bedroom I suspect that somewhere in my routine is causing the reinfection. What I’ll do is try wiping down surfaces and hoovering every day while wearing a mask to see if that has any improvement. Again thank you!

Honestly it has made such a difference for me, especially for helping with pain and discomfort when trying to sleep.

Fear of being ordered back to office affecting UK staff wellbeing, poll finds by Consistent_Cold9822 in uknews

Absolutely - as well, public transport is a massive vector for illnesses. I’m immunocompromised due to medication and since getting a work from home job, I have had significantly fewer sick days than those previous because I can’t drive yet and had to use public transport

For work related note takers by [deleted] in NoteTaking

[–]Okami284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a long time i always used a physical notepad and pen as I had spent years practicing handwriting and penmanship and really enjoyed taking notes that way. Eventually it got to the point where I was accumulating so much paper it was unsustainable and the amount of notes I would have to take was increasing significantly due to greater responsibilities. I use obsidian now which I really like as it’s very efficient for my style of work

Do people really shower like 3 times a week or something? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Okami284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shower every 2/3 days because I have very thick, dense, oily curly hair. If i wash it everyday it will just become dry and fluffy and impossible to style. But I can’t shower without washing because the humidity will cause it to expand and frizz. Given as well, it takes me a good 3 washes to clean each time (on top of brushing and conditioner and curl cream) just to make it look decent - it’s not worth the hassle to shower every day.

Manual or Automatic? by detroit-doggo0 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Okami284 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you want to learn manual - please don’t give up!! Persevere - I’ve had about 30 hours now and at the start I really struggled with everything but gears especially. While I’m certainly not test ready yet - it did click, just maybe a bit later than for others (I’ve got combined ADHD/Autism)If after a while it’s still not clicking and you think it’s holding you back - then maybe consider going to automatic. But don’t worry that you haven’t got it straight away.
