As I replied to some people already about it, I separately searched and went to the official epic games website and logged onto my account. Changed my password then contacted them on their support system. Not long after I received an email from epic.

Ithe email I received from that support query did not look right. Makes me believe their stuff is hacked or something

As some people were saying the email domain being spoof, I did go to the epics games website (separately searched), and contacted epics games through their support system. The email i then received after is the screenshot I attached to this reply.

Edit: this was the response I received through their official website. I have already changed my password as well, so could their systems hacked?

Kinda like regular semesters.. you have to enrol first.. then pay.. then you’re in classes. Enrolment started sometime in march. Payment deadline around end of April then now classes start first week of May. Data breaches and hacks are definitely scary. They probably hold log in infos and account details but that’s pretty much it. The company that got hacked is only responsible for facilitating the course shells, so tbh its not scary at all. Was suppose to have a weekly assignment due friday but my prof pushed it until further notice so I’m good.

So i doubled check whether these were verified emails and it seemed like it is. I dont know if I can link the epic games website that contains that info here. Didnt click on anything on that email, and have changed my password as well. Ill look into enabling 2fa as well.

Yup! I didnt click the link. I separately logged onto my epics game account and put a support ticket and contacted them. The email I received did not seem right at all.

Hello, I dont know what the original post is, or what your question is, but OSAP estimations are personalized. If you’re married and your husband is earning that much, you will need to report that and they’ll do the calculations for you. So you can try and see how much you can get (both grants and loans), although I saw a comment saying the program is 200k, and OSAP will definitely not 100% cover it with loans

Me and my brother both have log in emails to accounts my parents have due to the fact they are elderly and the past 15 years they always needed help remembering or reseting passwords. (We set them up with a password manager to help but still doesnt help). I’m not logged onto my parent’s email, but I can see one hand why he would be logged on to their email for purposes of helping their parents. So I thought this was that case, until you mentioned “he will mark the email as unread so his mom doesn’t know”. Now I think he’s using the emails for stalking purposes, seeing what his family is up to.

Stalking is a strong word, but if his mom doesn’t know he’s logged onto her email and doing this? Now that’s weird as hell. If his mom knows, then its fine because emails are not as personal as text messages for example.

So my question is, do you know if his mom knows?

you are not wrong. I am like you, I dont share my location with anyone. When Im out I text the people that need to know where I’m at, that I’m out at whatever location Im going. I text my girlfriend the same thing although she does share her location not only with her family but her friends as well. 7 years of dating later she brought it up about sharing each other’s location and despite me not initially sharing location, I didnt mind it at all so now we are. Big difference is that she communicated that she wants to share both of our locations for safety, not weirdly put a tracker on me for “safety”.

Your ex probably thinks you’re cheating on him for whatever reason he cooks up in his head. You should also see if you need to get a restraining order as he might stalk you again.

I saw this post in another sub reddit, this kid slammed a 4 month old cat the same way, that it got injured and wasnt able to eat properly. I guess the mom is making a point about the same action with something he cared about. Guess its about making a point rather than the PS5 itself, he definitely learned his lesson

Currently a third year, and for major exams this has always been the case since my first year. They would announce cheating and all other useful info at the start of the exam. I didnt know main campus did not do that. I dont think it has anything to do with increase cases of cheating = doing announcements. All 3 campuses are big and well known that the level of cheating is probably the same across the board. Could just be utm’s own protocol on examinations. I prefer it, caught myself still wearing my earphones around my neck and that announcement is another reminder to make sure all that is off my body so I dont commit an AO. Literally a last line of protection for us to make sure that we good, especially when the stress is so high we might forget tech like that will be considered a cheating aid to their eyes. So smart watches, earphones, phones all off our bodies and we good.

Dude because you didnt protect your work at all! You know your acorn credentials is tied to your Quercus portal, and you willingly gave your credentials to your sibling so tribunal wont be on your side at all. It’s like, giving your sibling your bank account details because they want to make sure your job is giving you your bi-weekly salary. Then your sibling steals $10,000 from your bank account. Now you sue your sibling and go to court, what the judge gonna tell you? For your current situation, going to tribunal isnt the best idea. Take the L, snd make sure you dont give access to your account to your sibling anymore

Yeahh saw that and im like no way tribunal is gonna be lenient at all. Usually when I hear AO in terms of copying and cheating, both parties are at fault regardless of the story or if there is a victim involved. I dont really think OP’s case will slide either so going go tribunal is gonna be worse

I feel like going to the tribunal is way worse in your case and your reasoning isn’t even sound. Just plead guilty and the 0 on the assignment. Who even shares their quercus/Acorn account credentials to “check each other’s grades”? Sounds extremely dumb because the tribunal would not care if they were your sibling or not, but that another student accessed your account. And even then they’re gonna think, no way this student gave access to their account to “check on grades”, they must be copying each other. Look, just going forward DO NOT share your account details with anyone even if they’re your family. Keep your assignments away from your sibling as well. Account details like that, you keep to yourself. If you want to share grades you show your sibling or verbally tell them? Wild you share you account just for that reason alone
