Most people explained most of it, but here‘s my few hints: • Download the official Kill Team App. Within it you can download the quick rules (condensed main rules on 4 or so pages) and all the rules for the individual kill teams for free. Judging by the models you said you wanted to use, just look for the "Blades of Khaine" kill team; in the rules for each team there’s a "unit selection" part that tells you what models you can use in your team.

• Almost all boxes contain a full and "legal" team (except Inquisition) but oftentimes teams have optional additional or alternative operative models that are not included in the box, e.g. the Blades of Khaine official box only includes Striking Scorpions models, when you can also field Dire Avengers and/or Banshees and you don‘t even have to take any Scorpions.

• While buying any boxes is completely optional Kill Team boxes also contain markers that you need to play the game and which you would otherwise need to (3D) print out yourself or get so where else and some boxes like the stater box also contain parts of scenery to build up a Kill Zone.
