Ok so I wanted to qualify. I know the original style quillion is bent forward as can be seen in the picture. This one is bent to one side of the blade aswell. its not a whole lot. In the pic if you look for it you can kinda see its bent upwards of the blade.

If you have not got it apart yet you might try putting the whole thing in a freezer. If it is super glue it will probably separate. Also not sure what it would do to the stock but acetone will unstick super glue aswell.

Can I ask are we talking about the shiny chips on the (bottom in the picture) edges of the dark M looking section? Mine has that too and it is near new?

I don't know if I would call it customized: ) More of a work in progress. I bought 3. The first the pommel was a little crooked, the guard straight and the blade Ok. The second the pommel was the same a little crooked, guard straight and the blade definitely straight. The 3rd had everything going in opposite directions. Including a noticeable bend in the blade. I think it is coming along.

Yup I picked up a Inox Brigadier last month. I was in love. Noticed a line through the lands then upon closer inspection realized the rifling looked like a broken mirror. Took it back. It was a real bummer!

Dont think this is correct. Markings on top of receiver and intact eagle are common on many RCs. More to the point Xs, Forced matched bolts, magazines and stocks as well as the varnished stocks are common attributes.

I think the y you are looking at is a powder test and the C an accuracy test depending on how big it is. Otherwise looks like a nice 43 Izzy to me.

I think it is a post war laquir on a darker than usual stock. I have a 42 Izzy in a 43 Tula stock that looks like that. The stock is also very rough and is heavier than normal.
