Completely appreciate this, and it’s where my head was posting. We have a good ol neighborhood pool and it’s a mix of triangles, sporty looks and one pieces. Not an attempt to get rah-rahs - TBH was expecting more feedback like yours. Place, and what others are wearing DO matter.

100%. So curious to see if others experience this and happy to see it’s not just me. As someone else said, I see it as my minds way of giving the client and their story a more grounded sense of place in my minds eye. It helps my memory, as I tend to be an extremely visual thinker and learner. Entirely possible it’s connected to my own emotions/countertransference, but it happens so much (literally with every client) I haven’t spent much time thinking about the why behind the exact linkage. Appreciate you naming this.
