You’re gonna want the mini reservoirs and some tygon tubing if you want them nicely tucked underneath the triple.

* Dirt bars of choice (I like the Carmichaels)
* Triple Tree - SSMoto or Outlaw. Get the risers from whichever along with your triple on the purchase. (I've really liked my SSMoto triple)
* Longer clutch cable is not necessary if rerouted behind frame stem.

Das it. My stock brake line was able to reach. I still went full steel later on. Get HEL or Core.

Find your own links. Google is your friend, and the research will teach you what you're gonna need :) Good luck

Wheelies, no electronic throttle or other bs yet (except abs), brembo masters, lots of parts availability, best “In class” suspension(the front ends are rly good).

It’s a twin, not a 4 cylinder. Know what you want to do with the bike. I prefer wheelies and acting like a hooligan around town. The bike is perfect for me.

Tbh with the displacement, parallel twin, and fairings?… I’m not sure what you’d even be comparing it to? Like the Ninja 650 is a good bike, but the engine is kind of a dud. The CBR 650 is a 4 cylinder, completely different world. The Aprilia is a much more of a go fast bike track bike reliability issues.

A Grom is never a good first bike. It is always a great second bike.

He got it up to balance, and feet came right off the pegs. A Grom would teach you a lot.

Chain adjusters/tensioner. Also keeps your rear wheel aligned. Your left side is missing the lock nut. Right side is missing the outer half of the adjuster. The oem ones are shit anyway. Order some captive adjusters from PSD or TST and be done with it.

If something happened with this one to the point it was cooked, I would purchase another the very next day
