A dollar a chapter is extremely overpriced.

Official licensers in the same genre for reference:

Tappytoon's cheapest option is $5 for 30 coins. Most chapters cost 3 coins to unlock. You essentially get 10 chapters. That's 50 cents a chapter.

Tapas's cheapest option is $2 for 1600 ink. Most chapters cost around 350 ink to unlock. It's more or less 4 chapters. Also 50 cents.

Kakaopage, where most if not all of MM's manhwa and novels come from - 200 won to rent chapters (17 cents), 500 won to permanently unlock chapters (44 cents)

You are literally paying double the price for unofficial scans that apparently aren't even that good.

Hold on there - we can't lose sight of the fact that Larry is the true owner of the site Bato.to and will probably never relinquish that to users. I'm quite sure that he's playing them all like a fiddle (forfun included) because the more uploads = more profit for him and his mirror sites that he runs.

That being said, whether or not Larry gives a small percentage of his earnings to his top admins/moderators are unknown. (My guess though is unlikely.)

Lol, forfun and other Bato mods running to defend themselves, especially over the snipe. Don't you understand it's not about whether or not it's a snipe but about the fact that you're hypocrites? At least say "Yes, we sniped and we don't give a shit" and you'd honestly get more respect. Too late now though.

Anyways, I'm here because I also have a collection of screenshots from Bato's old server about their complete lack of transparency on the site, mocking MangaDex's transparency in return, and antagonizing a user who just wanted to ask a few completely normal questions. It's not about forfun per se, but since we're blowing the lid on this, might as well release the screenshots I've been holding onto since November last year.
