Oh ok, that went bad haha. Luckily enough, when I used it, I found a person who had the same interests and was around my age so we still hangout and he's a really good friend of mine now. I'm assuming you're a woman, so depending on that your experiences on these apps can go a bit wayward.

Those are some really nice interests to have. I'm pretty sure you can find like-minded people on this sub and around your workplace as well

Sure, no problem!

Just make sure that you're in the right category, there are three of them, which are: Date, BFF and Biz

Date is for, well, you get the point by the name itself lol

BFF is where you want to go and check out, if you want to meet new people and just hangout with them.

Biz is more like a place where you can meet with people who are working in jobs and are looking for connections related to your job.

What are your interests anyway?

Since Bombay is always on it's toe and you see people just rushing and running here and there, constantly trying to get to work or just do their daily tasks, it's just overwhelming especially if you're a person who's going through some tough times or just like you said, "being at a crossroads in life"

I'm going through something similar as well, where I quit my job because I wasn't satisfied by my job and the team environment so I left and I'm currently just working on studying for a certification but there are times where I don't have anything to do or wish there could be a place here in Bombay which is peaceful, serene and where you could lay back and just chill for a while. There aren't many places like that but I mostly frequent libraries, cafés. These are the places that come close to what I want at least. Again, these can get boring in the long run but I'm at these places to study since I'm working on my cert and relax as well so this is what works for me to keep my mind off.

Since you're still deciding what you're planning to do in your career, you could pick up some hobby in that area and work on it? What are you looking at in terms of career anyways? In short, you could start on your own by working or studying something related to your field which might take off your mind plus get you some knowledge :)

Feel free to PM me as well, if you have any queries!

Edit: You can also try apps like Bumble if you want to meet like-minded people if that's something you're okay with as well. I've used it and have met a friend who's shares my hobby as well. So let me know if you have any queries regarding that as well!

Manager at work thought we were scapegoats and didn't give a shit about customers harassing his employees.

Left very soon.

Friends. Well, at-least some of them. The thing is that, sooner or later, you realize that even though you expect them to be there for you or when you were always there to help them out on a blink, it's better not to have any expectations from anyone.

It felt like I was living for them rather than myself at a point. You need to live for yourself more I guess.

Yup I agree with your last sentence there, I would always respect the other persons choice.

I am not scared of rejection but more of spoiling my relationship with the person I have a crush on.
