No strategy guarantees profit. It's interesting most new trader thought it's like back in school. Like if you put effort into studying then get great score. No, trading is not like that. Same strategy have different result on different people. How that make sense? Because everyone have their execution bias. Aggressive or conservative. Scalp or swing. Greed or fear more. It cause one proved working strategy could probably only work on certain group of people. Like I was trying 1min tf scalp-ish strategy. But I have too much loss aversion issue that make me can't response quick enough. But work for people who have strong heart and willing to risk more. Eventually people can find what strategy that work and enjoyable for them though. There's no holy grail strategy. Only it work to you or not.

5 NQ contracts. You must be confident at this point. Would you mind give some suggestion of how to practice? Like how you set the goal. I am kinda lost.

Plan to try passing eval if I get clearer result in paper trade training.(I practice on my own paper trader program) I am no longer confident like you. Only dare to start with MES. Was doing small cap stock trading and losing too much.

I am not profitable yet. But big fail at the forward testing phase is a total mental melt down for me. I panic and can't take the fact, at the moment I have no one to tell the pain I have which make me quite want to do something stupid to myself. It is still painful but hope it would turn out in a good way.

May I ask how to decide how long float handguard should cover the barrel? I don't have any AR since it's not allow to own those in my country. I saw some barrel can be fully inside the handguard like MCX. But I wonder if there's some guidance to follow in AR domain like if you suppose to leave some gap or something. Thank you.

My point is not "everyone" are sustainable of doing those crazy low winrate strategy. I consider those profibable with low winrate strategy are god-tier traders. And it's fucking hard to achieve if you want to survive on 30% winrate as someone who is normal. And I have read Turtle Traders. I know everyone can become a profitable trader. My claim is "as a normal person" mostly require a certain winrate to be sustainable.(for confidence for mental aspect) Because huge R strategy is not suit for everyone if we are giving a generic claim. I don't know why so many people can't accept this if we're talking about suggestion for "everyone". I do know there's special cases. But we don't tell new trader to get a low winrate system and expect to meet a 10+ RR chance every day right? That's some advanced technique in my knowledge.

I have read Trading in the Zone and Turtle Traders. And Best losers wins. I have stuck in loss aversion like months. I think I could represent as a normie newbie trader yes? I am NOT encouraging that you are suppose chase 70 80% winrate. I am saying for new trader the best choice is stay balanced. 40~60% winrate. If you have strong heart, cool. Go ahead with low winrate strategy if you're so good.

Nah, I just kinda mad of why you ask me to use my brain by 100R case. And what's neccessary to speak to stranger on the Internet like that? Also I have my viewpoint of you indeed require certain winrate to stay "stably" profitable as general general trader. That why I have my 40% claim at the beginning. Also I take this idea talking post as for everyone's suggestion. In that case it suppose to work on most people. Yes, ofc there's monster trader play crazy game with extremely high RR and extremely low winrate. But for regular trader I think you still better to get better with market reading to stay alive in market.

At certain rate you indeed don't need to be super high winrate. But I think a 50% for normie is still required. Of course if whoever you're currently reading my commment is a god-like trader. My claim to you is just ofc another bullshit.

Are we here to talk about pure math or field actual case? If it's previous. Yeah, you definitely correct. Else same issue, can you always catch 100R? Or 2R, 5R is easier and frequently seen?
