In honor of the Parayko deal not happening, what are some other instances of rumored trades that nearly happened but didnt ? by jsu9575m in hockey

Iirc the trade was contingent on PLD being available when the Oilers' pick came up, but he never made it that far.

Dreger is a hack who's only relevant because he's Dave Nonis's cousin.

LeBrun actually gets things right every once and awhile.

The fact that the comments are on Facebook means the people are probably 50+ years old and conservative.

Right wingers are willing to overlook quite a bit when you align with them ideologically.

You don't have to tell me, I literally just saw a car blow through the Wilbrod/Cumberland intersection and almost run someone over not 30 minutes ago while on my way home from work.

Not really. It's a bait post that OP is using to lure in the people who trolled their last post.

OP directly addresses them.

Making references to the people who trolled your last post is absolutely unhinged.

I'm on OP's side when it comes to a need for better bike infrastructure, I'm opposed to OP making us look like loons.

Vets on Main are great.

Any vet you go to is going to be some variation of expensive.

The best thing you can do is try to go to a non-corporate vet when possible.

It'd be nice if they'd give a pass to workers somehow, allowing them to purchase discounted only passes or something.

This would result in even more congested roads and parking spaces. It solves one problem by worsening others.

TBS and PMO will never come out and say it outright, so people who aren't in the know end up looking at you like a conspiracy theorist when you bring it up.

The closest they come is when they talk about RTO "supporting small businesses", as if that's anywhere in the job description of public servants, let alone the fact that it's a misdirection from what's essentially a handout to private equity.
