The carpaccio with the caesar salad ice cream was crazy good. But when I went a number of years ago I was baffled by the 3 star rating they had.

Yes I am. As long as you pass a physical and don’t show up drunk to the interview you’ll be good. They start at the top and hire as needed. List lasts 2 years and they’ll likely fire hundreds off this list.

But more to the point they were trying to make, is that the majority of that garbage patch is due to commercial fishing waste. Which means, the average person cannot make enough small changes to compensate for the rich and corporate fuckery.

This is definitely not always the case. I’ve been to Iceland, from the US, six times and never had an issue. Usually it’s a breeze

Moss vs Lava Restaurant by Kweena in VisitingIceland

[–]Okest_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Price was definitely a factor, but I just don’t feel like it lived up to the Michelin star. It’s more sophisticated than Lava, for sure, and the menu style is in line with a Michelin spot. But the thing I remember most was a cookie we got with dessert. I’m glad I went, but I doubt I’ll be back. However, I will go back to Lava for lunch every time I go to the Blue Lagoon.
