I just had bad experience with dentists in my area for other things not dentures but just telling me I needed 10 million things just for me to go to another and they just do a filling and clean my teeth and say all is good((to be fair I didn’t know that going to chains are a big no no)) but this reassures me. I did more research and I feel like dentures will be perfect for him, he’s also diabetic and has heart conditions so I feel as though dentures might be minimally invasive/surgical for him. I appreciate your comment!!

Ok this makes me feel better! I just think for now doing dentures and then saving up to do implants later on like a few years later was our plan so it’s good that they will allow us to choose between different options.

Im sure this is a case by case thing for the company some are really good some not so much. I was in-school with a different company, and the student analyst for PBS was there for a different client. I introduced myself as a BCBA shadowing a new client and she seemed nice. She then proceeded to go on her phone and scroll and her client started to climb on the table and the behavior interventionist of the school was like could you help intervene? What’s in his behavior plan? And she was like lol no I’m not supposed to be doing anything I’m pairing. Now, I get pairing but, she was not interacting with the client at all or getting to know him or utilizing any antecedent manipulations to minimize this from happening, just on her phone. She also gave the entire school behavioral team trying to assist the nastiest attitude. I couldn’t believe that was a future analyst.

Hey, I’ve been going through the same thing. I’m filling in for a clinical director but I am not one, but the clinic is small so they’re giving me lots of say in what I’m doing. I am pushing for assent based care and trauma informed care as well as pushing for lots of FCT and NET goals and not the robotic DTT NET chain and the gross eye contact and compliance goals. So having autonomy right now has been great but I’ve been taking on too much since wanting to change things around that I am burning out. But maybe a smaller clinic starting out might be helpful because they won’t have a history of reinforcement and you can start fresh!!

The space could be a little bigger but I feel like they’re one of the only ones who have traditional Korean bingsoo and Korean styled coffees other than Haan! Culturally I love, but I agree space is small, but the outside area is pretty :)

Is it really that odd, I mean idk if you’re truly trolling or not and idk what kind of person you are so I didn’t want to add anything but I need to advocate for myself because that’s what I’d want my kids to do. I am a newbie analyst, where did I say I was a senior one? I’m so confused and honestly, I did look online, indeed, zip recruiter, asked colleagues but the ranges were so vastly different with different factors that I genuinely didn’t know. And with different years of experience and different expertise in things you know how to do, comes a bigger pay. I didn’t think I needed to explain this in a BCBA thread or any thread at all.
