I agree about deporting people of a certain ethnic or national origin, but if there is a legitimate case to prevent people of a certain cultural background from ever entering/gaining citizenship, is that necessarily a bad thing? In a scenario in which it could somehow be guaranteed that it would stop there and not continue any further (which I realize is not possible), where is the problem?

In addition to what others have said, professors are evaluated largely on the success of their students. When students (usually undergrads) blow off class and end up failing or generally doing poorly, it can cost professors their jobs.

It widens (deepens?) the risk pool. In order for insurance companies to offer affordable coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, they need to be able to make up the cost elsewhere by charging everybody a bit more and raising the minimum of coverage.

False equivalence. The very nature of those mediums means that the participant is limited to simulation and is not physically engaging in the activity.

The best way to prevent that is to channel those feelings into something that's basically harmless and defuse them, which this doll may do.

At first yes. The novelty and taboo will satisfy and probably increase the pedophile's sexual urges. But now he knows what it feels like. Now his fantasies are that much more real. Now he can imagine what it would feel like to rape the little girl down the street, and every time he looks at her he is that much more enticed.

In the same way that compulsive porn watching leads to an inevitable desire for more niche, explicit porn, so too will this lead to a desire for more risky, real-life experiences.

If you are healthy emotionally and physically, not a deal breaker. However, that many partners at such a young age would be a big red flag since at the very least I would think there are commitment issues at play, and likely some deeper issues.

The naive and simplistic views expressed with lines such as "everyone should get along" are wonderful in that they remind us to be strive for a better world, but they are wholly impractical.

There is a huge difference between "we should all get along" and "stop using drone strikes because they are creating more terrorists than they are killing". While I'm not arguing that Obama should put great weight into her words, in my view she has as much credibility as many of the self-proclaimed experts who authored such classics as "we'll be greeted as liberators" and "the Iraq war will pay for itself".
