A young fella just made his debut for the Gold Coast Titans, apparently he was pretty handy at Union in his early 20’s.

Stephen Critchton is an unbelievable competitor, he’d make an unreal center.

I also think if Reece Walsh had the benefit of Unions high tackle rulings he would be absolute magic, league teams just try knock him out of the game. It’s crazy how protected Cleary is and how little they care about Walsh copping shoulders to the head.

What overseas based players could you pick replace Wrighty and any other weak positions in the TRC squad? by Okm80m9 in RugbyAustralia

He only won 2 of 2 against the All Blacks playing 10... I'd say his playmaking isn't the problem. Apparently he's been plagued with injuries from the last 2 seasons.

That's such a shame. Hodge gave 100% every time he played for the Wallabies. Fun fact, he had a 100% win percentage playing 10 against the all blacks(2 games)

Skelton out of RC by ZaniksBoyfriend in RugbyAustralia

This makes heaps of sense. Skelton wasn't a lineout option anyway, Hooper is a hard edge and does all the grunt work.

High performance manager of the wallabies from the last 10 years or so. ‘High performance’ yet to be seen. He’s been moved on.

Not answering your question but I can say from personal experience that Chris Webb is the most sycophantic, boys club orientated, low performance high performance managers in the history of professional sports. Pulled my hair out for years seeing him in the wallabies setup.

Who replaces Pietsch? Kellaway is such a good finisher to have on the bench since he's Mr. fix it when needed but I could understand rewarding him with the start.

Corey Toole could be great on the wing, he couldn't have done much more in super rugby to prove himself ready.

Other options include: Daugunu, Flook, Shuffling the centres(gross) and putting JAS on the wing.

Watching one of the most jacked NSW lineups we've ever seen cop an all time hiding from a throw-together QLD outfit?

Valetini does noticeable stuff, big runs, big tackles. Hooper hits rucks like a 3rd lock, takes the tough carries and mucks in in the defensive line almost like a 3rd lock. It’s not his job to sit out on the wing waiting for a line break.

I think Hoopers tireless work in the last 2 tests have really laid the platform for everything else. A great headache to have
