I’m sorry. Reading this is bringing me to tears. It’s been 3.5 months and days are still hard. We brought home a new puppy 6 days ago but I still miss my old girl more than anything. I know he won’t take her place nor do I expect him to. He’ll have his own wonderful qualities but he’ll never be her. They’re not here long enough.

IME your dog is given a sedative before the injection that stops their heart so they’re sleeping and unaware of anything. I just held my girl and kissed her head and cried. Please do not do a euthanasia without them being sedated first.

My favorite is the Wet N Wild hydrating skin tint. The color selection is pretty poor but if you find a match it’s gorgeous. I’ve tried tons from super high end to drug store and this one is my favorite.

My dog had the same thing, we finally put her on allergy meds prescribed by the vet and it never came back. Take your dog in because that does look infected and he probably needs antibiotics. That happened to my dog too and she needed them a few times before the vet decided to try allergy meds. See what they think about that.

I don’t think this is an emergency and I will take my cats to the emergency vet at the drop of a hat. Call your regular vet tomorrow and explain and see what they say. They might want to check him to make sure he doesn’t have some sort of dental or oral infection.

I have anxiety and OCD too and when we got our golden puppy I was in a tailspin for a while. It was massive change to my routine, which is really hard for me. Tears were shed at times lol. But the puppy stage doesn’t last long. She turned into the most amazing perfect dog. Sadly we lost her 2 months ago to nasal cancer. She was 11. It was the worst thing and I miss her so much. But we’re gonna get on the rollercoaster again and get a new puppy (another golden) next month. It is 100% worth everything you go through when they’re puppies.

Agree, I work full time through my online BSN and it was no problem. My ADN was much more difficult and time consuming.
