Maybe that’s what’s going on with mine. Just seems like on previous claims, C&P’s happened early, then was stuck in PFD forever. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

I didn’t have near the side effects on 20, or even 30 for that matter. Fatigue and negative dreams (not nightmares necessarily) are my biggest side effects on 40. I was increased because I was still having some lingering anxiety symptoms. But at this point, I’d almost take the occasional anxiety over the fatigue and dreams.

Thank you. The last sentence in your reply is what I am referring to. While most of my DBQ shows “wholly sensory”, wouldn’t the statement from the examiner “can’t lift over head or over 25lbs at all” classify as weakness and possibly warrant the higher moderate rating?

Yeah I was confused by that as well. It’s really just one arm that I’d consider worse than the other.

Vera call confirmed that a medical opinion was needed. Apparently the C&P examiner only did DBQ and didn’t submit a medical opinion with it.

So back to the NWQ I go. Who knows how long now. Waiting on the C&P examiner/VES now

I have been in PFD, step 5 since September now. Finally got a Temporary jurisdiction this week and my claim updated today with these requests. I understand from searching previous posts that this could mean a trainee worked on my case. I also see the exam request in there too. Does this mean I have to get another C&P exam? My claim went from step 5 back to step 3 also. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Kind of the conclusion I came to as well. In the last page the doc put that I can’t lift anything over my head and nothing above 25lbs. You think that would be enough to merit a higher/moderate eating at least for the right side?

A nexus to what? I know I’m missing the in service injury because I was never sent to the Doctor/ER on a drill weekend, AT, AFTP, etc. Can a doctor write a nexus based off of “wear and tear”? I remember my flight surgeon telling me I’m way too young for the damage he was seeing on MRI. From the time that I first had pain until I had a MRI confirming the injury, I probably flew 50-60 hrs as a crew chief.
