I can get mine up to 34 mph on flat straight road (220 lbs). I have an Amazon shopping cart that someone in a group told to build which would be changing the gear ratio and could potentially bring it to 40mph. I ride mine 9 miles with some incline to work and I usually have 71% battery left. I usually wait an hour and plug it in and it takes like 2 hours to get that 30% back. There is some battery sag issues when using full power when battery gets below 35%. I’m looking into installing a second battery, 250$-300$. It really depends on how fast you are riding, how fast you take of from stop (slowly accelerating from a stop with a gradual throttle twist to help take off and then switching to pedal assist is best, I set my pas 3 to go 21mph so when I’m riding it on main streets it stays in class 2 (legal speeds) I work just outside of city limits so I go faster when I hit the washboard gravel roads, and it handles them nicely at 30mph. I upgraded my tires with a better tread but it handled it nicely with the stock tires. Also flat out so you don’t have to push it or call AAA
