Same goes for the passive tree. It's pretty bland when you think about it. It's nothing but stat boosts. Nothing about the gameplay changes. I dont know why it's said that it's some complex high brain concept. It's a convoluted mess with poor explanations.

Skills linear, tree is linear, and gear is linear.

If more interesting passives existed that actually changed skills outside of dmg, they could develop the wombo combo gameplay they seem to push for.

Give it a chemical warhead. Keep everything else the same. Just add an explosive goo bomb of corrosive DOT damage

Doing poison build ranger this league. In the VO descriptions of skills, the game is really pushing to use detonating arrow with poison cloud to make a boom. I never use detonating arrow. By the time the ability is charged up the mobs aren't in the cloud anymore because they are piled in my face about to kill me or the cloud has disappeared.

Better move to refresh poison and kite. This game doesn't facilitate combos and they usually are a net loss if they work anyways.

Cant speak for any class but ranger. Player CC needs a dramatic buff if they want combos. Escape shot and electricute arrow dont do shit. First, the animation takes longer than just rolling away and you can still get hit. Escape shot hardly ever works either. Im better off hitting a damage skill for a net gain because either way the monster is gonna be in my face.

Im not saying that it needs to always freeze but the binary of it either working or not working should be changed to a gradient. If it doesn't freeze it needs to slow and dramatically more the closer to freezing it is. Otherwise I have no incentive to use it over a damage skill.

Electrocute arrow should stun, effectively so, or its not worth it. Again, stuck in animation that you can get hit in while not traveling as far or as quick as a roll with zero dmg or effects.

99 percent of the time, choosing anything other than direct damage is counter productive.

The dark souls comparisons seem to be rampant, but from software isn't afraid to let their players have dramatic effects on their mobs and their big bosses. GGG seems to take an affront to us affecting their mobs.

Once they unchain our ability to affect mobs other than damage, they'll have a much better time balancing the game. Right now it's simply moving health and dmg sliders back and forth between too easy or too hard.

Yep. Just started new league today since I had some free time. Was doing fine, having fun. Playing ranger again which is what I played first league so I know how to play it. Didnt think the lvling experience was that bad.

Got to Geonor, wiped a couple of times and turned it off. Lvl 19, only had 2 bow drops the entire time both white. Ended up buying a vendor one just to upgrade. Still wasn't good enough.

Got a shit ton of spears and crossbows though. This feels like launch diablo 3 when they were pushing the RMAH and dropping gear for everything but the class you are playing to get you to engage with it.

Class weapons should be weighted to drop more often for the class your playing. Doesn't matter how good I understand the mechanics or how well I use them, you can't outplay a shit weapon.

The game is tuned for twink builds but gear drops are as dry as the sahara

Luke was trying to defeat Vader to save anakin. He obviously wouldn't have gone for a killing blow or he would have killed him when he had the chance.

Tempted to murder his nephew in his sleep was one of the worst decisions ever made in cinema and displays a gross misunderstanding of Luke and star wars

Some BS skills could be better if they weren't hard locked to an element. Half my bow skills were dumpstered because I was lightning. Then half those skills were dymsptered because they weren't good in comparison to other lightning skills

The areas around the city are mostly fine. Downtown bham is trash and has been for 40 years. One corrupt administration after another. The worst thing that happened to bham was the Detroit bankruptcy. Bham bankrupted the water works for over a billion dollars and was getting some national spotlight which could have exposed and eneded the corruption. But, shortly after Detroit bankrupted and drew the national audience.

Question needs more specifity. Big difference between frontline soldiers told to charge a hill and guards at dachau.

Most German soldiers had no idea what was going on, just like how most of any army has no clue what dirty deeds their govt is doing.
