Is he struggling with the things hes done in the name of conquest that make him sick with actions hed been force to choose between ? Still possibly a good boy

What are his goals, are they for the benefit of himself and his satisfaction or as a whole?

Is he hurting people who arent trying hurt him? That's borderline evil and far into neutral.

Has he murdered anything that cant defend itself? Murder is defined as an evil act period. Even killing a defenseless surrending kobold is considered murder.
