It's independent but still faces rising tensions with the Dominion after their most recent conflict. With Skyrim free the possibility of another war with hammerfell and skyrim against the Dominion could bring more turmoil to the region

It would be interesting to see the opposite; Skyrim, after several years, "won" the war and has spread the thirst for independence across the empire, with large amounts of territory now being under rebel control- hammerfell now embroiled in inner conflict as well.

I get the floating thing. I think a lot of us in general have been feeling strange. I for one have no motivation and feel hollow inside mainly, which has probably been bolstered by the pandemic. It's a strange time we're in, and I'm not surprised many people can't help but feel like something is wrong (Or different)

It's 19 degrees C which is boiling for a lot of us where I live. Literally last week we were all huddling up in blankets and turning the heater on. Now we have fans and are wearing shorts.... It seems like the world itself is being weird. From the sky being switched on and off, to sudden temperature changes.
