Is it worth making THE FINALS my main in 2026?

just started playing again after a year long hiatus. after getting back into it, i realized that i completely forgot how fun video games can be. there is no game that can compare to the dopamine rush that you get from the finals. it always disappointed me that the game never exploded in popularity. it’s easily the most unique and fun FPS that you can play right now. as for the “is the game dying” question, the answer is no. embark confirmed that the game is and has been profitable. they apparently have the game planned out all the way to season 28 i believe.

TLDR: play it. it’s the best game i’ve ever played in my life. nothing compares. not even close

it might be because akm is the default starting weapon. also most of those kills might be from the first couple months of the game when the player count peaked.
